Somali day care fraud cases piling up in Minnesota « Refugee Resettlement Watch

Somali day care fraud cases piling up in Minnesota « Refugee Resettlement Watch

Again, not enough time to give you all the ins and outs of these cases, you need to read this story yourselves.  Thanks to a reader for sending it!
For those of you thinking that this is Minnesota’s problem, think again!
The federal Office of Refugee Resettlement is giving grants to some of the nine major federal contractors and subcontractors responsible for resettling refugees to help refugee women set up dare care facilities to provide “culturally appropriate” day care in towns where you live (see below)!  BTW, they are basically using your tax dollars to compete with American women who might want to become day care providers.   And, you might want to ask, well what about assimilating to America if they are placing Somali kids only in Somali run day care centers?  Where is the multiculturalism in this?
From Alphanews:
Since the Minnesota Department of Health and Human Services (DHS) fully-staffed their new child care fraud investigative unit in the spring of 2014, they’ve worked with the FBI to shutter daycare centers around the state. Of the cases that have hit the news since then, all have involved Somali-run businesses.
Khadra Abdisafad Hirsi, 47, was the director and co-owner of Ace Daycare Center in Eden Prairie. In February, Hirsi pleaded guilty to knowingly submitting fraudulent claims to the state of Minnesota’s Child Care Assistance Program. From November of 2011-May of 2013, Hirisi inflated the number of children using her daycare’s services and fraudulently obtained $300,000 in payments from the state of Minnesota and the U.S. Departments of Health and Human Services. Earlier this month Hirsi was sentenced to one year and one day in federal prison and ordered to pay $300,000 in restitution.

Deqo daycare center, which had three locations in Apple Valley, St. Paul, and Minneapolis was shut down in 2013 due to licensing violations and prosecutors charged husband and wife Ahmed Aden Mohamed and Yasmin Abdulle Ali for bilking the state out of nearly $3.7 million, $3.1 million of which was collected from April 2012-January 2013. The duo had recruited more than 100 parents to enroll their own children in the program.

There is much more here.
Now be sure to visit the Office of Refugee Resettlement, Microenterprise Development—Home Based Child Care program where your tax dollars are handed out in grants to help Somalis (and other refugees) become day care owners and operators.  Go here and be sick!
And, I suspect that the contractor administering the grant is not audited to determine where exactly this money is spent!  People ask me all the time how can a contractor make enough money simply by collecting the per-head payment for each refugee they resettle.  Well, it is grants like these that send more money into their coffers.

MFS - The Other News: Seoul Loses Track of Over 50 North Korean Submarines Allegedly Headed for Operations.
Seoul Loses Track of Over 50 North Korean Submarines Allegedly Headed for Operations. (SP).

The South Korean military cannot locate over 50 North Korean submarines which have allegedly set sail from their bases in the Yellow Sea and the Sea of Japan.

"Seventy percent of North Korea's submarines left their bases, and their locations are not confirmed," a South Korean military source was quoted as saying by Yonhap.

North Korea is known to have a fleet of around 70 submarines.

Earlier, it was reported that the North has also doubled the number of its artillery forces along the border, near the demilitarized zone. The news came just a day the conflicting neighbors held the first round of high-level talks to reduce tensions that escalated earlier this week. Earlier in the day, local media reported that Seoul and Pyongyang would continue the high-level talks later Sunday.

The tensions on the Korean peninsula escalated on Thursday, as North Korea reportedly fired shells at a South Korean military base across the demilitarized zone. Seoul was quick to retaliate with dozens of heavy artillery rounds.

Wichita KS: Schools desperate for more funding to cope with refugee overload « Refugee Resettlement Watch
Posted by Ann Corcoran on August 18, 2015
We told you about Wichita public school problems here back in the spring, now comes news that, as the school year is about to begin, the school system there is in desperate need of more funding due to the refugee overloadbrought there by the International Rescue Committee and and Episcopal resettlement contractor.  See IRC in Kansas here.
Hillary and David Miliband
So what might this photo have to do with Wichita? That man on the left (Hillary says if you met him you would have a “crush”) is the CEO of the International Rescue Committee based in NYC. He is the former British foreign secretary who has come to the US to head up the IRC. He makes a salary of nearly $500,000 to resettle third world refugees to places like Wichita, Kansas. He was feted in NY by a list of Leftwing luminaries here in 2013.
Note to ‘welcoming’ communities—the federal government will not be helping you out with funding!  This extra funding will be provided by the taxpayers of Kansas!
Calling all potential ‘Pockets of Resistance’ in Kansas!  (See yesterday’s blockbuster WND story about POR in North Dakota, Idaho and South Carolina).  Where are you?
For POR everywhere, be sure to examine your local school system budget!
From The Wichita Eagle (hat tip: Joanne). Emphasis is mine:
The Wichita school district is seeking nearly $1 million from the state’s extraordinary need fund for schools, citing a large number of students who are refugees.
It is among 38 school districts that have applied to the Kansas Department of Education for additional dollars to deal with a variety of needs, including enrollment increases.
The districts are seeking slightly more than $15 million. The extraordinary need fund has $12.3 million in it. The State Finance Council will weigh districts’ requests at its Aug. 24 meeting.
Wichita, the state’s largest district, pointed to a growing number of refugee students as the reason it needs the additional resources.
“Episcopal Wichita Area Refugee Ministries and the International Rescue Committee in Wichita have each received allocations and are actively relocating refugees to Wichita,” wrote Jim Freeman, the district’s chief financial officer, in the application the district submitted Monday.
“As a result the district is seeing a dramatic increase in the number of school-aged students who are refugees from Burma, Somalia and the Congo region of Africa. Some have lived in refugee camps for decades; all are fleeing persecution, oppression and war.”
The district had 132 refugees enrolled during last school year, and 95 percent did not speak English when they arrived. The district expects an additional 145 to 150 refugee students to enroll this year; it expects the total number of refugees to be about 220.
Freeman wrote that these students come with a host of unusual needs.
Continue reading to learn what those “unusual needs” are!  Then this:
Freeman noted that the district did not receive any federal immigration funds for this fiscal year despite its growing number of refugee and immigrant students.
Please read the whole article, here.
About the photo:  I would like readers to know that this issue isn’t just a local problem, but is part of a massive plan coming down from the very top. Think about it, David Miliband, a Brit, is helping to shape the future of Wichita!  For more on David Miliband, see our many posts by clicking here.   The International Rescue Committee (Miliband!) was the first contractor to call for 65,000 (mostly Muslim) Syrians to be admitted to the US by the end of 2016!   See also ‘Miliband: we must embrace political Islamism.’
You can bet the colonizing will be stepped-up if Hillary makes it to the Oval Office.
For anyone in the larger alternative media reading this, it would be very useful for someone to profile some of the biggest players involved in the refugee racket.

Megyn Kelly Talks With Howard Stern: Breasts, Penises, Sex

Megyn Kelly Talks With Howard Stern: Breasts, Penises, Sex

Megyn Kelly may have suggested that she was turned off by Donald Trump’s sexist remarks, but that didn’t stop her from rollicking with Howard Stern, discussing her breasts and her husband's penis size and engaging in some graphic sex talk.

Stern has been accused of being tough on women, such as in 2013 when he called "Girls"  actress Lena Dunham "a little fat girl who kinda looks like Jonah Hill, and she keeps taking her clothes off, and it kind of feels like rape." He also is known for having women remove all their clothing during his radio broadcasts while he ogles and describes them.

In a 2010 interview, the Fox News star laughed with glee as Stern talked about her breasts.

"We used to call them 'Killer B's' then when I got pregnant they became 'Swimmin' C's' and Doug was frolicking in the ocean," Kelly said of her husband, author Douglas Brunt.

Stern asked whether she would have considered not marrying Brunt if his penis had been small.

"I reject the hypotheticals. There's no issues there," Kelly said, laughing. "I've never had to choose. Let's put it that way."

She also talked about having sex with Brunt even while she was pregnant – into the third trimester.

Kelly was one of the moderators in Thursday's Fox News debate and asked Trump about tweets he has made insulting women's appearance. Trump and his critics have called the question inappropriate.

Trump then got into trouble the next day when he told CNN's Don Lemon that Kelly was gunning for him and was so angry at him that blood was coming from her eyes and "from her wherever."
Critics slammed that as a reference to a woman's menstrual cycle, but Trump said Sunday he was referring to her nose or ears.

Trump, for his part, said he has called Rosie O’Donnell a "fat slob" and "dog" but never said it applied to all women. He referred to a lawyer who wanted to breast-feed her child in the middle of a deposition as "disgusting" – not as a "disgusting animal."

His reference to women on their knees comes from a comment in "The Apprentice" where Trump was talking about a person on the show kneeling to beg, not to commit a sex act.

Walid and Theodore Shoebat on their website, called Kelly a hypocrite for criticizing Trump after her lewd conversation on Stern's show.

"She laughs and is okay with Stern discussing penises, breasts, in a very trashy nonchalant way," the Shoebats write.

Stern, they say, is a "sleaze bucket who utterly despises women." So for Kelly to claim she favors women's rights when questioning Trump's own treatment of women is hypocritical, they say.

Kelly is the one who owes women an apology, not Trump for making comments about Kelly, the Shoebats argue.

"Apologize and let's all move on," they write. "What man would allow his daughter or wife to get on some public adult radio and have a sleaze bucket talk sex with them? This is not a private matter. Kelly made this public."

In Austria, a 26-year-old Bosnian immigrant named Alen Rizvanović drove his SUV at high speed through the main shopping areas of Graz, Austria's second-largest city, and rammed into a crowd. He then got out of his vehicle and began stabbing bystanders with a large knife. The June 21 attack left three people dead and 34 others injured.
Police were quick to rule out a religious motive and insisted that the attack was a random act of violence perpetrated by a deranged killer, but a subsequent investigation found that Rizvanović was a devout Muslim with many links to radical Islam.
On June 16, the Criminal Court of Vienna found ten Muslims guilty of attempting to join the Islamic State in Syria. A Turkish man accused of organizing transportation for the group of nine native Chechens, aged between 17 and 27, received a three-year jail term, while others got prison terms of between 19 months and three years. The men were arrested by Austrian border police in August 2014 as they were attempting to travel to Syria via Turkey.
The convictions came just weeks after a 14-year-old Turkish boy who downloaded bomb-making plans onto his Playstation console was sentenced to two years' detention after pleading guilty to terrorism charges. The boy, who was living in Sankt Pölten in northeast Austria, had also established contacts with jihadists linked to the Islamic State. Sixteen months of the sentence were suspended. The boy will serve what remains of the eight-month term in a juvenile detention center.
More than 200 Austrian citizens and residents have joined jihadist groups in the Middle East; 30 have been killed and around 70 have returned.
