Far Right Anti Muslim party wins in France Elections

UK Mail
March 31, 2014
Fights started outside French town halls tonight as they came under the control of the far-right National Front for the first time following dramatic gains in local elections.
Exit polls suggested that the anti-immigration and anti-Europe party had roundly beaten the governing Socialists in a number of key constituencies.
'Demonstrators are trying to get at the Front representatives and starting fights,' said a police spokesman in Frejus, the picturesque Mediterranean town which is hugely popular with British tourists.
Riot police are tonight guarding the offices of David Rachline in Frejus, one of the areas where the right-wing National Front have won local elections

Frejus and nearby Beziers are now expected to have National Front (FN) mayors sworn in, along with around five other towns, following a nationwide drubbing for President Francois Hollande's Socialists.
Riot police were also out in force in other parts of the country as anti-fascist demonstrators threatened FN candidates with violence.
It meant further humiliation for Mr Hollande, whose disastrous tax and spend policies have led to economic stagnation, so opening the electoral door to the FN, which is regularly accused of being racist, anti-Semitic, and anti-Muslim.

I Guess This Should Be Called A “Stealthie”

Great picture but the IDF might want to be a bit more careful with its captions. Hundreds of kilometers in the air would pretty much place him in space!

EDL marches to raise awareness (and hopefully fury) at muslim child-sex-slavery, forced prostitution gangs.

Vlad Tepes
1. EDL does demo to raise awareness of the tsunami of muslim white-child-slavery gangs. (And no, I do not mean forced to make wallets for tourists on the streets of Hong Kong. For details about what exactly these muslim-rape-gangs do, please find the time and energy to read this report.)
While some of the chants are a little anachronistic, like “No surrender to the Taliban” (it seems like pretty much everyone has surrendered to them already, at least in the area) I quite like, “Allah Allah, who the fuck is Allah”. Very much in the spirit of the enlightenment. When forced to show deference to someone’s deity in order to elevate ‘them’ and degrade ‘you’ it is important to remember that the right to criticize, mock and ridicule irrational or hostile religious and political authority is the most important kind of freedom of speech. In fact it could be argued to be the only kind of important freedom of speech.

Parrot put on Prozac after being left in garage for three years for repeating name of owner's dead wife

March 29, 2014

A parrot has been put on anti-depressants to recover from a state of manic trauma after being trapped in a garage for three years.

Roy was locked in a dog cage with little food or water as he kept screaming the name of his owner's dead wife over and over again - after the widower's new partner had moved in. In captivity, with little food or water, the Congo African Grey was driven to near-insanity, pecking off all his feathers.

The 26-year-old bird is now being treated by Britain's only parrot psychologist Elaine Henley, who has started him on an intensive programme of pills.

Ms Henley, who provides respite for pets taken in by Parrot Rescue UK, saved Roy from imprisonment in the home in southern England. In more than 10 years treating birds as far away as Australia and America, Roy is the most disturbed pet she has encountered.

Ms Henley, 44, said: “He’s so traumatised from his years in the garage which he will never get over.”

Roy had been close to his owner Sarah before she died - and would not stop calling for her when she passed away.

But Sarah's widower eventually met somebody else, and decided to lock Roy away until they moved house three years later.
Glasgow-based Ms Henley has even taken Roy in as her own. After just a few weeks, he is already picking up her strong Scottish accent - shared by her existing pet parrot Milo.

She said: “They’re much smarter than people think.”

Taliban continue to launch suicide assaults in Kabul

The Long War Journal

The Taliban launched two more suicide assaults in the Afghan capital of Kabul over the past 24 hours. In the attacks, the Taliban targeted the headquarters of the Independent Election Commission and a guesthouse run by an American charity.
The first suicide assault took place last night as a four-man Taliban suicide assault team attacked the guesthouse of Roots of Peace, "an international humanitarian organization working to unearth dangerous landmines in war-torn countries and [that] empowers the local communities scarred by these indiscriminate weapons." The charity also helps plant "sustainable crops."
The attack began as a suicide bomber detonated a car packed with explosives outside the main entrance to the charity. Three heavily armed fighters then entered through the resulting breach and stormed the compound.
Afghan forces responded and killed the three remaining members of the Taliban suicide assault team after several hours of fighting. Two civilians outside of the guesthouse were killed in the crossfire. The occupants of the charity survived by hiding in the building during the fighting.
The Taliban claimed last night's attack on Voice of Jihad, their official website, and said they targeted a "church belonging to US embassy for converting the Afghans to Christianity, an abolished religion." The Taliban identified the members of the suicide assault team as "Muhammad Zaman ... from Paktia province ... Zabihullah from Wardak, Muhammad Islmail from Logar and Obaidullah from Kunduz provinces."
In today's attack, a suicide assault team stormed a building next to the Independent Election Commission headquarters. Four or five Taliban fighters occupied the building, then opened fire on the IEC headquarters. The Taliban fighters also reportedly fired up to 15 rockets at the building. Afghan security forces battled the Taliban fighters for five hours before killing them. No IEC workers were killed during the attack.
Over the past nine days, the Taliban have stepped up attacks in Kabul. The al Qaeda-linked group has launched four suicide assaults in the capital since March 20, two of which have targeted the IEC headquarters. On March 25, five members of a suicide assault team killed a candidate for provincial elections in Kabul, two IEC workers, and two policemen, in an attack on the IEC headquarters. And on March 20, a Taliban assault team killed nine people in an attack at the Serena hotel in Kabul.
The recent spate of attacks in the capital is likely the work of what US military officials have previously called the Kabul Attack Network. This network is made up of fighters from the Taliban, the Haqqani Network, and Hizb-i-Islami Gulbuddin, and cooperates with terror groups such as the Lashkar-e-Taiba and al Qaeda. Top Afghan intelligence officials have linked the Kabul Attack Network to Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence Directorate as well. The network's tentacles extend outward from Kabul into the surrounding provinces of Logar, Wardak, Nangarhar, Kapisa, Kunar, Ghazni, and Zabul, a US intelligence official told The Long War Journal.
The Kabul Attack Network is led by Dawood (or Daud) and Taj Mir Jawad, military and intelligence officials have told The Long War Journal. Dawood is the Taliban's shadow governor for Kabul, while Taj Mir Jawad is a top commander in the Haqqani Network. In the US military files that were released by WikiLeaks, Taj Mir Jawad is identified as a key Haqqani Network leader.
The suicide assault, or coordinated attack using multiple suicide bombers and an assault team, is a tactic that is frequently used in Afghanistan by the Taliban and their allies, including the Haqqani Network, the Movement of the Taliban in Pakistan, al Qaeda, and the Lashkar-e-Taiba. Suicide assaults are also commonly executed by al Qaeda and allied jihadist groups in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Pakistan, Somalia, and Nigeria.

Alabama Congressional Candidate Uses 40 Glock Pistol, .270 Cooper Rifle And An AR-15 To Shoot Up ObamaCare In New Ad

March 26, 2014

Excerpted from DAILY CALLER: An Alabama congressional candidate uses a .40 Glock pistol, a .270 Cooper rifle and an AR-15 to destroy a copy of the Obamacare bill in a new video released by his campaign.
The message in candidate Will Brooke’s video, shared first with The Daily Caller on Wednesday, is clear: Republicans have been successful in taking shots at Obamacare, but it’s going to take “more extreme measures” to get rid of it.
“We’re down here to have a little fun today and talk about two serious subjects: the Second Amendment, and see how much damage we can do to this copy of Obamacare.” Keep Reading

Taliban launch suicide attacks in Kabul, Kunar, and Kunduz

Threat Matrix

The Taliban have claimed credit for three suicide assaults and attacks that took place today in the capital of Kabul as well as in Kunduz and the remote northeastern province of Kunar.
In Kabul, a five-man suicide assault team attacked the regional Independent Election Commission office, which is "situated near a presidential candidate's home and Afghan National Army recruitment center," according to TOLONews:
The incident took place in the Darul Aman area of Kabul, when two of the attackers detonated their explosives at the entrance of the IEC office, opening the way for three other attackers, said the Ministry of Interior Affairs Spokesman Sediq Sediqqi.
"Two police were killed when the attackers detonated their explosives," said Sediqqi. "One provincial election council candidate and two employees of the office were also killed in the attack."
Two of the three attackers who stormed the building after the intial blasts were killed quickly by security forces. The final one was killed more than four hours later on the third floor of the IEC building.
The Taliban claimed credit for the Kabul attack on their website, Voice of Jihad, and provided the following description of the attack:
The operation initiated with Abdur Razaq Qais hailing from Kandahar province detonating his explosive vest that blew to pieces all the security barriers, enabling the two martyr attackers of the team of three Mujahideen, Mula Abdul Majeed from Zabul, and Mula Habibullah from Kandahar, equipped with heavy and light arms to get into the building and began launching operation within the facility.
Shortly afterwards, Mula Habibullah Waqar, with explosive-vest approached the office of the head of election commission where the head and others electoral officers were present and conducted a second detonation blowing his vest up.
Next, the third and last martyr attacker of the team of the three, armed with Kalashnikov rifle equiped with Grinov (grenade launcher) and hand grenades came round and fought off the security guards, soldiers and others, with the help of Allah Almighty, for straight 6 hours and embraced martyrdom having dispatched many.
According to the Taliban, "as many as 24 electoral employees and 21 security forces were killed with dozens of others wounded." Afghan officials rejected the Taliban's body count.
In Kunar, the Taliban attacked the Kabul Bank branch in Asadabad. The target of the attack was the Afghan Local Police and Afghan National Police who were lined up to cash their paychecks. Afghan officials claimed that one policeman and four Taliban fighters were killed, but the Taliban claimed that "at least 28 puppets [were] lying dead and wounded on the second floor where no one was allowed to go in case they may find out about the death and injury toll," and that "six Arbakis" were killed in the initial blast. The Taliban provided the following account of the attack, stating that only two suicide bombers were involved in the assault:
Abdurrahman, a martyr Mujahid detonated his explosive-vest targeting the long queue of the puppets (ALP /ANP) at the main entrance of the bank waiting for their turn to get paid in which scores of Arbaki lapdogs and police were killed.
In the meantime, Imran, a second martyr Mujahid reached second floor of the bank packed with the police and soldiers of ANA and engrained in a face to face fight with them lasting for over two hours. The brave fighter of the Islamic Emirate became martyr after two hours of fighting with the entire enemy single-handedly.
Also today, in Kunduz, a suicide bomber killed five people and wounded 20 more at a "Buzkashki competition" in an attack that targeted "a former Mujahideen leader," Khaama Press reported. The Taliban have yet to release a statement on the Kunduz suicide attack. The Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan may have executed the attack; the al Qaeda and Taliban-linked group is active in Kunduz.
Today's three suicide bombings follow a pair of suicide assaults on March 21 that targeted a hotel in Kabul and a police headquarters in Jalalabad in Nangarhar province.
Suicide assaults are also commonly executed by al Qaeda and allied jihadist groups in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Pakistan, Somalia, and Nigeria

Muslim Brotherhood men convicted of murdering 2 policemen and attacking others; majority of the condemned are on the run

IRO — A court in Egypt on Monday sentenced 529 supporters of ousted Islamist president Mohamed Morsi to death after a mass trial, judicial sources said.

Islamist backers of Morsi are facing a deadly crackdown launched by the military-installed authorities since his ouster in July, with hundreds of people killed and thousands arrested.
The sentence was delivered in the second hearing of a trial which began on Saturday in Minya, south of the capital.
Of those sentenced, 153 are in detention and the rest are on the run, the sources said, adding that 17 others were acquitted. The verdict can be appealed.
Those sentenced are among more than 1,200 Morsi supporters on trial in Minya. A second group of about 700 defendants will be in the dock on Tuesday.
They are accused of attacking both people and public property in southern Egypt in August, after security forces broke up two Cairo protest camps set up by Morsi supporters on August 14.
They are also charged with committing acts of violence that led to the deaths of two policemen in Minya, judicial sources said.
The accused include several leaders of Morsi’s Muslim Brotherhood, including its supreme guide Mohamed Badie.
Morsi, Egypt’s first elected and civilian president, was ousted by the army on July 3 in a move that triggered widespread unrest across the deeply polarised nation.
Hundreds of people died in the August assault on the two Cairo protest camps and in subsequent clashes that day.
Rights group Amnesty International says at least 1,400 people have been killed in violence across Egypt since then, and thousands more have been arrested.
Morsi is himself currently on trial in three different cases, including one for inciting the killing of protesters outside a presidential palace while he was in office.
Morsi was removed after just 12 months as president following mass street protests against his rule amid allegations of power grabbing and worsening an already weak economy.

Fukushima The Coming Global Disaster -- CHRIS HARRIS

The Financial Armageddon
Japan's Nuclear Regulation Authority said last week it feared the disaster was "in some respects" beyond Tepco's ability to cope.

they need to construct a wall outside the plant that extends into the ocean, wall it off so it cant pollute more ocean water, then pump under high pressure cement into the ocean bed in holes every few feet using sonar to make sure its completely blocked from seeping into the rest of the ocean...then drill holes all around the plant using steerable drill bits and fill those with a concrete/nuclear blocking substrate. All nations need to invest into this as its effects affects us all!

At least 59 people dead in Guinea Ebola outbreak

March 23, 2014
CNN) -- An Ebola outbreak has killed at least 59 people in Guinea, UNICEF said, as the deadly hemorrhagic fever has quickly spread from southern communities in the West African nation.
Experts in the country had been unable to identify the disease, whose symptoms -- diarrhea, vomiting and fever -- were first observed last month.
Health Minister Remy Lamah said Saturday initial test results confirm the presence of a viral hemorrhagic fever, which according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention refers to a group of viruses that affect multiple organ systems in the body.
In a written statement, UNICEF said at least 59 out of 80 people who contracted Ebola have died. At least three of the victims were children.
How Ebola virus spreads
"In Guinea, a country with a weak medical infrastructure, an outbreak like this can be devastating," the UNICEF representative in Guinea, Dr. Mohamed Ag Ayoya, said in the statement.
UNICEF has prepositioned supplies and stepped up communication on the ground to sensitize medical staff and local populations on how to avoid contracting the illness, Agoya added.
Isolation units
The Guinean Health Ministry warned that the disease is mainly spread from infected people, from objects belonging to ill or dead people, and by the consumption of meat from animals in the bush.
So far, most of the cases have been in the forest area of southern Guinea, and health officials say they are offering free treatment for all patients.
They've urged people to stay calm, wash their hands and report all cases to authorities.
The international medical charity Medecins Sans Frontieres announced on Saturday it was reinforcing its medical and logistics teams in Guinea in response to the epidemic.
It is also flying in 33 tons of medicines and equipment and setting up isolation units in the three affected areas in the country.
"Isolation units are essential to prevent the spread of the disease, which is highly contagious," Dr. Esther Sterk, MSF tropical medicine adviser, said in a written statement. "Specialized staff are providing care to patients showing signs of infection."

Louisiana Welfare Program Prohibits Fund Use For Nonessentials like nail saloons or Tattoos

The Jawa Report
March 23, 2014
BATON ROUGE, La. – Louisiana welfare recipients will be prohibited from spending the federal assistance at lingerie shops, tattoo parlors, nail salons and jewelry stores, under new limits enacted by state social services officials. The Department of Children and Family Services announced the emergency regulations late Thursday. They cover the Family Independence Temporary Assistance Program — commonly known as welfare benefits — and the Kinship Care Subsidy Program. (Source)
Of course, recipients can simply withdraw the cash from ATMs and use the funds for unnecessary items and services.
Another program exploiting hard-working Americans.

And you wonder how Obama got reelected? Its easy when you can put half the country on foodstamps and other welfare programs that the working stiffs are paying for.  Would you vote to take away your handouts? Didn't think so.

Beijing hotel workers already 'fed up' with Obama entourage in 3400-square-foot, $8,350-per-night suite inconveniencing 'pretty much everyone' – and the first lady's mother is 'barking at the staff'

  • Michelle Obama, her daughters and her mother Marian Robinson are staying in a sumptuous presidential suite at a Beijing Westin hotel
  • Mrs. Robinson has been 'barking at the staff since she arrived,' a hotel staffer said, adding that 'we can't wait for this to be over'
  • Secret Service agents are monopolizing elevators and booting high-paying guests from their rooms to occupy a block of space near the first lady
  • Both front and back doors of the hotel are blocked off, with Chinese and U.S. security agents screening everyone who enters
  • Ordinary Chinese describe Mrs. Obama and her family as kind and gracious, but hotel staff are 'fed up'
Michelle Obama and three of her family members are staying in a $8,350-per-night Beijing presidential suite, but despite a 24-hour butler and other perks that come with the lodging, her entourage has inconvenienced 'pretty much everyone' and made the hotel staff 'fed up,' a well-placed hotel staffer has told MailOnline.
The sumptuous pad at the Westin Beijing Chaoyang hotel – itswebsite calls the room 'an oasis of comfort – is a 3,400-square-foot masterpiece including a private steam room, 'corner sofas with silk pillows,' and in-room dining for six.
But the Obamas' stay has already affected staff and guests at the hotel, with the Westin front-desk veteran alleging that Mrs. Obama's mother Marian Robinson has been 'barking at the staff since she arrived.'

Government security forces from both China and the U.S. started Thursday to screen everyone who entered the building, including paying guests, setting up checkpoints that resemble those at airline concourse entrances.
The Secret Service's monopoly on the hotel's highest floors has meant the Westin had to boot guests with previous reservations out of their executive-level rooms.
Secret Service agents are also monopolizing hotel elevators long before the Obamas need them, added the staffer, who identified himself as a member of the concierge staff and spoke English during a phone call on Friday.
'Many of them are Asian, too, or Americans who are Asian, so you know our guests don't understand.'

What a joke Michelle Obama is. Soaking up our tax dollars acting as if he's a queen or goddess. And she claims to care about the poor folks. LOL

Taliban suicide team kills 9 at Kabul hotel

Threat Matrix

Late yesterday, a Taliban suicide assault team attacked the Serena Hotel, a posh and secure hotel in Kabul which has been targeted by the group several times in the past. FromPajhwok Afghan News:
Four teenage suicide attackers were also killed after a two-hour clash with security personnel inside the Serena Hotel, frequented by high-ranking Afghan and foreign officials. Deputy Minister Gen. Ayub Salangi said the dead included two women and children. Both women were foreigners, according to Salangi, who did not give their nationalities.
One of the victims was a former Paraguayan diplomat, who had come to Afghanistan as an election observer. Paraguay's Foreign Minister Eladio Loizaga identified the election observer as Luis Maria Duarte.
Interior Ministry spokesman Siddique Siddiqui wrote on his Twitter page: "Eight civilian including, three women, three men and two children were killed during the terrorist attack on Serena Hotel last night."
The two children were shot in the head. The foreigners were from Canada, New Zealand, India and Pakistan. A child, a hotel guard, two Afghan soldiers and a parliamentarian were among the injured.
The Taliban claimed the attack on its official website, Voice of Jihad, and named the four fighters. Below is the full Taliban statement:
Four martyr attackers Siddiqullah Ma'az, Zahurullah, Hafiz Agha and Mohammad Haydari, equipped with automatic weapons, grenades and powerful sticky explosives entered the Serena Hotel frequented by the foreigners last night about 9:00 p.m. local time launching a three-hour long operation.
The martyr attackers as per previously planned tactics and accurate intelligence on the presence key foreign invaders along with the top-level local officials and lawyers in the hotel viewed it as the best opportunity to strike.
The brave attackers divided into two teams and began targeting the enemy from both directions. The Mujahideen fighters started searching each rooms of the hotel thoroughly to discover the identities of the guests and selectively took down their targets.
Meantime, the martyr Mujahideen, too, had a lethal fight with the enemy security.
At about 12:00 a.m., all four martyrdom-seeking Mujahideen with indomitable courage and spirit of sacrifice, embraced martyrdom after having killed at least 22 foreign invaders and puppets including high-ranking officials, lawyers and security gunmen and wounded 13 others.
Last night's suicide assault on the Serena was the second such attack that day. Earlier, seven Taliban fighters launched a suicide assault on a police headquarters in Jalalabad in Nangarhar province, and killed a district police chief, nine policemen, and a civilian during a clash that lasted for six hours.
The Taliban have prioritized attacks against hotels in Kabul. In June 2011, a suicide assault team hit the Intercontinental Hotel, killing 13 people. In February 2011, a suicide bomberdetonated at the Safi Landmark. And in January 2008, a suicide assault team carried out an attack similar to today's at the Serena Hotel. Foreigners were the targets of both strikes.

Another al Qaeda bigwig killed in Syria?

Threat Matrix

Sanafi al Nasr picture 2.jpg
The picture above is circulating on jihadist Twitter feeds and purportedly shows Sanafi al Nasr sitting on the left.
Reports are swirling on Twitter, via well-known jihadists and sympathizers, that Sanafi al Nasr has been killed in Syria. (This is unconfirmed as of this writing.) ***Updates at bottom.***
You may be wondering: Who?
The Long War Journal first reported on Mar. 6 that Nasr, whose real name is Abdul Mohsin Abdullah Ibrahim Al Sharikh, was much more than just a prolific and well-connected online jihadist. He is, or was, the head of al Qaeda's "Victory Committee," according to multiple US intelligence officials we interviewed. His alias actually means "Cultivator of Victory." And his committee is tasked with strategic planning and policy for al Qaeda.
Nasr, a third cousin of Osama bin Laden, comes from an al Qaeda family. Several of his brothers are known to have joined al Qaeda, including two who were detained at Guantanamo, transferred to Saudi Arabia, and then re-arrested on terrorism charges in 2008.
Al Qaeda is still poorly understood in the West, mainly because the organization hides much of its infrastructure and does not publish personnel rosters. As far as I know, the fact that Sanafi al Nasr headed al Qaeda's "Victory Committee" was not known before we reported it. You can search in vein for in-depth analysis of his committee as well.
In fact, Sanafi al Nasr's story highlights the substantial epistemological challenges the counterterrorism community and broader media face in covering al Qaeda and affiliated groups.
If he was killed, then this is arguably a higher-profile killing within al Qaeda circles than the death of Abu Khalid al Suri in late February. Abu Khalid was Ayman al Zawahiri's main representative inside Syria, which is an incredibly important role within al Qaeda. But Sanafi al Nasr's position within al Qaeda is above even that, according to US intelligence officials.
Sanafi al Nasr has been very active on this Twitter feed. His last post was two days ago. He currently has nearly 12,000 followers.
The picture above is circulating on Twitter and shows him, on the left, looking at what appears to be his computer -- which is fitting given his prolific online role.
If he is in fact dead, then a valuable open source window into al Qaeda will have been lost.
But that, of course, does not offset the benefits of al Qaeda losing another dangerous leader.
Right now, interested analysts, commentators and journalists should be asking: How many more Sanafi al Nasrs does al Qaeda have? Who are his lieutenants? And how many of them are in Syria currently?
We will have additional coverage if and when Sanafi al Nasr's death is sufficiently confirmed. (Which probably will not take too long.)
In the meantime, you can read our original reporting and analysis of Sanafi al Nasr here.
Update: Prominent jihadists with known ties to al Qaeda, and who are in a position to know whether or not Nasr has been killed, are reporting that he is dead. For example, Sheikh Abdallah Muhammad al Muhaysini, who we've written about extensively, has tweeted on Nasr's death. This is strong evidence that Nasr has in fact been killed. Muhaysini and others are using a common hashtag to commemorate Nasr's "martyrdom."
