Petition to keep Bare Naked Islam Online

As a reader of Bare Naked Islam blog, I was upset to find that has decided not to allow Bare Naked Islam to continue to post to their blog. So I have started a petition on

As an America, I see our freedoms slowly being taken away by Obama and Holder. Muslims don't allow for free speech in Islamic countries. Here in America, free speech is one of our constitutonal rights. That means someone like Bare Naked Islam speaking the truth about the evils of Islam should have a right to continue speaking out on their blog. Support Bare Naked Islam and its right to speak the truth. If we allow BNI to be taken down, then what blog will be next? It could be yours.

Please sign the petition and help to uphold our freedom of speech before the likes Of Obama and Holder and his Muslim friends at CAIR get their way and start shutting down other sites.

The Fraudulent Strategy of Tolerance and Dialogue

Back in October we posted an article about Sabatina James, a former Muslim who now lives in Germany and speaks out courageously on behalf of apostates.

The article below about Ms. James appeared a couple of weeks ago in Politically Incorrect. Many thanks to JLH for the translation:
Sabatina: “You Politically Correct Jornolists”
by Michael Stürzenberger
December 18, 2011

Sabatina JamesThe latest edition of Der Spiegeloffers Islam-critics a real treat: a four-page report on ex-Muslim Sabatina James who is known not to be reticent on the subject of the Most Peaceful of All Religions™. Editor Matthias Matussek — who until recently had a link to PI on his homepage — features the courageous woman, who is under permanent personal protection in Germany. She provoked him with the right words: “You will never publish something like this. You politically correct jornolists are too cowardly for that.”

She was referring to her portfolio of horror pictures of beheaded Christians. Matussek describes them as “splatter photos from the hot zone of the battle of faiths in the 21st century.” Of course, he did not publish any of these pictures — that might make the negative popular opinion even worse, and even this most Islam-critical author of Der Spiegel is not up to that. For the rest, however, his article offers several tough-as-nails comments by the attractive woman from Pakistan, who gives a merciless accounting of her former religion. She has decisively turned away from Allah and the Prophet, of which her father said:
“Anyone who turns her back on our faith has earned death.”

Since then, she has been on the run. From her own family and any possible commissioned Muslim murderers. Despite this permanent threat, she fights on undeterred and continues to explain things Besides that, she promotes Christianity, whose message of loving your neighbor seems to have pervaded her. She is “on a mission,” as noted by the village minister who baptized her.

Matussek also cites pamphlets in which Sabatina puts the following provocative questions to German and Austrian citizens:
“What would you do if leaving the Church was punished with death?”

“How much tolerance would you have, if someone was going to kill your children because they have Christian given names?”

All of this can be read on the first double page of the fascinatingSpiegel article. But it gets better: She calls Islam “religious fascism.” “German understanding” for this totalitarian ideology she calls “blind.” For her, the only “sensible politician” in this country is Family Minister Kristina Schröder, who, revealingly, had a link to PI on her homepage in 2007 and 2008. The estimate of 3,000 forced marriages published by Schröder is “ten times” what Sabatina estimates. Commenting trenchantly on Mrs. Merkel’s silence:

And the chancellor says nothing about being ashamed that such a thing is happening in Germany.

She coldly sloughs off the Turkish prime minister, who in all seriousness offers Germany his “help” in this matter”
“Erdogan of all people. Every third woman in Turkey is forcibly married. State president Gül married his wife when she was 15. Before he helps, Erdogan ought to see that no Christians are being killed in Turkey.”

This appears on pages 140 and 141 of the Der Spiegel edition that is available today.

At this time, Sabatina James is in demand among church organizations. At the beginning of October, the Catholic Sunday Paper for Germany published a cover story with quite a few tough quotations.

Last Wednesday she was the invited speaker at the Benedictine Foundation in Munich. This foundation does not wish to make a public impression of being Islam-critical. A caller who would have liked to attend the presentation was told, “We are pro-Islamic.” It was “unfortunately a closed group” to which no outside attendees were invited. There could be no better description of the double standard of such Catholic organizations. They know very well the danger of Islam, but do not wish to express this publicly — out of fear, because of political correctness, or in deference to the fraudulent strategy of tolerance and dialogue. At any rate, they listened to what Sabatina James had to say. Later, they will not be able to maintain that they “knew nothing about it.”

“Islam, the West, and Rape: Can We Agree?”

A Tale of Two Cultures, Islam and the West

No topic more highlights the differences between Muslims and Westerners than their markedly different perceptions of an issue vital to women—rape. We can appreciate the vast gulf by turning, first of all, to theUnited States.
Only forty years ago, American men who violated women sexually had little reason to fear retribution. Society—including the police—often assumed that the female victim had no one to blame but herself because she had “led the man on: through a combination of provocative attire and flirtatious talk. Even if a woman possessed the strength to handle this “blame the victim” mentality and demand her day in court, the legal system made conviction very unlikely. Operating on the presupposition that an accusation of rape was “easily made and difficult to defend against, even if the accused is innocent,” judges advised juries to convict only in the most clear-cut cases. Consequently, if defense lawyers could demonstrate that the plaintiff had not fought the assailant with “all her might” or prove that she had a prior sexual history, jurors were encouraged to conclude that the sex had been consensual. Due to the preceding cultural and legal factors, rapists usually went free. For example, in Chicago, during 1972, police received 3,562 complaints of sexual assault, but arrested only 833 men, and of these only thirty-three were convicted.
Today, after four decades of feminist activism, best-selling books, like Susan Brown Miller’s “Against Our Will: Men, Women, and Rape,” blockbuster movies, such as “The Accused” (1989), not to mention thousands of “Take Back the Night” rallies, with their warnings about “date rape,” Americans have “zero tolerance” for sexual assault. And any man who dares to justify his violation of a woman with once-acceptable statements like “she was asking for it” or “she led me on,” can expect sympathy from neither the police nor a judge and jury. Reflecting the nation’s profound disdain for rapists, in 1994 theUS. Congress passed its “Violence Against Women Act,” with overwhelming bipartisan support. This powerful piece of legislation increased the amount of prison time for those found guilty of gender violence and categorized rape as a male “hate crime” against females. It also allowed victims to seek financial damages from the men who attacked them, on the grounds that their civil rights had been violated. In terms of severity, then, rape has been put on a par with racial, religious, and ethnic discrimination.
Upon turning to the Muslim world, however, we find a diametrically opposite state of affairs, as the following case reveals. In 1992, during the sacred month of Ramadan, three men gang-raped a teenage girl in a crowded Cairobus-station. Although the girl had been impeccably veiled and accompanied by her mother, upon learning about this attack, the Egyptian public hurled abuse at the young woman and her parents, saying almost nothing about the culpability of those who had seized her virginity. Shortly thereafter, Egypt’s People’s Assembly began debating a “proposed law that would lay blame for rape on the victim’s family for allowing their daughter to leave home in the first place.” This perception of rape may seem antiquated and cruel to Westerners, but it flows from one of Islam’s bedrock assumptions about human nature. Quite simply, men have been “created weak” (Quran 4:28) and are utterly incapable of restraining their sexual appetites in the presence of females. Indeed, the sight, sound, touch, even the scent of a woman is deemed sufficient to “turn men into scary, irresponsible beasts,” in Ayaan Hirsi Ali’s words, who have no choice but to satisfy their lusts. So powerful is this assumption that Muslims—past and present—have enforced strict gender segregation and required females who leave their houses to put on ill-fitting and all-covering attire (Arabic, hijab), in order to avoid inflaming men’s passions. If one subscribes to this view of make sexuality, it follows, quite naturally, that a woman, like the Egyptian girl mentioned above, is to blame for her own rape because by leaving home and crossing into the public sphere—male space—she was “asking for it.” Had she heeded the Quran’s admonition to “stay in your house” (33:33), the helpless man would not have been tempted to “jump” her.
A second presupposition underlies Muslims’ normative perception of sexual assault: the raped woman has dishonored her family, the attack’s true victims. In Arabic/Islamic societies nothing is more treasured than a household’s honor or “sharaf.” This commodity is dependent, however, upon the chastity (Arabic, ird) of a family’s female members. Should a wife/sister/daughter indulge in illicit sex, the entire family suffers a humiliating loss of face. Whether or not she consented is irrelevant because the final outcome remains the same: her ird has been tossed into the trash can. And only cleansing violence against the tainted one can restore the family’s sharaf to an acceptable level. Driven by this reasoning, Muslim men routinely dispatch their “just-spoiled” women folk. Here is a graphic example from Turkey, but it could be Jordan, Egypt, Pakistan, or many points in between: “Ignoring the pleas of his 14-year-old daughter to spare her life, Mehmet Halitogullari pulled on a wire wrapped around her neck and strangled her—supposedly to restore the family’s honor after she was kidnapped and raped… ‘I decided to kill her because our honor was dirtied…I didn’t listen to her pleas, I wrapped the wire around neck and pulled it until she died.”
In conclusion, let me state the obvious: despite their constant pleas for open-mindedness and sensitivity to others, Americans (and Westerners, in general), cannot accept the standard Muslim interpretation of rape. Instead, they will perceive it as insane and primitive, the product of an unenlightened civilization that oppresses women. Nonetheless, Muslims cannot jettison their faith’s views on women and sexuality, nor stop being preoccupied with family honor, the factors that underlie their distinctive attitudes toward rape. Consequently, in this troubling matter, common ground between the two cultures appears totally unattainable.

Befogging the Enemy: U.S. Officials as Human Pretzels

Islamist Watch Blog
by David J. Rusin • Dec 31, 2011 at 3:26 pm

The most vexing video of 2011 may be this clip of Congressman Dan Lungren questioning Assistant Secretary of Defense Paul Stockton on December 7. Though Stockton's evasiveness is in line with the government's history of not calling Islamism the enemy — recently exhibited by scrubbing FBI training materials and labeling the Fort Hood attack as "workplace violence" — his ability to twist himself into knots to avoid stating the obvious deserves special recognition:
Lungren: Secretary Stockton, are we at war with violent Islamist extremism?
Stockton: No, sir. We are at war with al-Qaeda, its affiliates —
Lungren: Okay, I understand that. My question is: is violent Islamist extremism at war with us?
Stockton: No, sir. We are being attacked by al-Qaeda and its allies.

Lungren: Is al-Qaeda — can it be described as being an exponent of violent Islamist extremism?
Stockton: They — al-Qaeda are murderers with an ideological agenda —
Lungren: No, I — that's not my question. That wasn't my question. My question was: is al-Qaeda acting out violent Islamist extremism?
Stockton: Al-Qaeda is a violent organization dedicated to overthrowing the values that we intend to advance.
After asking to hear the question again and receiving a cold stare, Stockton protested that the U.S. is not at war with Islam, which Lungren had never suggested, and said, "I don't believe it's helpful to frame our adversary as Islamic with any set of qualifiers." However, he did reluctantly admit that a serviceman identifying himself as a "soldier of Allah" could be a bad sign.
Evoking both laughter and horror, the exchange — which recalls a similar one with the attorney general bobbing and weaving in 2010 — does much to illustrate the absurdity of the speak-no-jihad routine. But what is its source? Does government refusal to "frame our adversary as Islamic with any set of qualifiers" indicate that awareness of Islamism and its perils is totally absent, or is the pussyfooting mostly just for show? Also, is the latter alternative tolerable?
Given the extensive data in the hands of U.S. security officials, the second option seems more likely: a degree of understanding exists, but public equivocation is employed for reasons that range from genuine, if misguided, strategic concerns to crass political calculations. Yet this is no cause for glee. Though preferable to abject ignorance, not being frank is problematic as well.
The conflict with radical Islam is fought not only by government-trained professionals in far-off lands. Violent jihad has targeted places like Little Rock and Times Square, while stealth jihad is ubiquitous. Ordinary citizens thus find themselves on the front lines and have a key role to play by looking out for potential terrorist activity and resisting nonviolent Islamists, but the feds appear determined to keep people too uninformed about the nature of the threat to be as useful as they otherwise could. Hence, even if U.S. leaders do have some grasp of Islamism, they fail Americans by not conveying basic knowledge of the enemy's ideology through untwisted words.

With folks like Stockton, Obama, Holder and Napolitano running our security, all I can say is we Americans are in deep shit if we don't remove these bastards from office and do it quickly.

Mumbai to Muslimabad?: Pakistan's plan to absorb India into Islamic state by 2030

Most of us in the West know that the relationship between Pakistan and India has been strained since the former was created as a state in 1948. But it might come as a surprise to many to learn that the Pakistan intelligence agency, ISI, reportedly has a plan to take over India and to absorb it into a "Greater Pakistan."

According to Hindu Existence, Pakistan has revised its plans. It had originally believed India could be taken over by 2020. The estimation has now been revised up to 2030.

However, Hindu Existence says that "Pakistan [...] has come with some new plans to destabilize India by influencing some developments in the north, west and southern parts of the country, as part of its multi-pronged strategy."

According to a summary report of the ISI's plan by the Urdu-language Daily Express, Pakistan's intelligence agency will attempt to infiltrate and subvert India's political parties, will infiltrate "Jihadi and Muslim populace into India from neighboring countries," and will use terrorist attacks to frighten the population. Another strategy is to try to convert en masse Hindus to Islam.

Silly Obama Rabbit, Tricks Are for Islamists

rubin Reports

By Barry Rubin
It's the end of 2011 and also the end of the old order in the Middle East. It would be an exaggeration to say that it's the end of U.S. interests in the region but it sure looks like the beginning of the end for a lot of them. The problem isn't just Obama policy and the advance of revolutionary Islamism but the decline of the most basic logic and common sense in evaluating the world.

Here's an example of how the mass media, Western foreign policy establishment, and Obama Administration miss the most obvious possible points as the Muslim Brotherhood (and lots of other enemies) run rings around them.

Egyptian police and prosecutors raided the offices of 17 groups which are either “pro-democracy” movements or their Western funders.  Two of the groups were the taxpayer-funded Republican Institute and the National Democratic Institute. (Talk about ways to antagonize the United States!) The U.S. government was outraged and protested.

A number of people were quoted but not gave any clue to the real political significance of the event. They talked about how civil society groups played a central role in the revolution; how this is an attempt to stem protests.

The New York Times informs us: “The raids were a stark escalation in what has appeared to be a campaign by the country’s military rulers to rally support by playing to nationalist and anti-American sentiment here.” Talk about Western chauvinism! The newspaper only gave the names of the two U.S. groups and not a single one of the Egyptian organizations targeted! The Washington Post at least included another U.S. group, Freedom House, the German Konrad Adenauer Foundation, and two Egyptian nongovernmental organizations: the Arab Center for Independence of Justice and Legal Professions and the Budgetary and Human Rights Observatory.

But what does it all mean? Well, there are two ways to answer that question:

KAHLILI: “Ayatollah Khamenei has ordered the guards to prepare for war.”

Vlad Tepes
Posted on  by Eeyore

From the WAPO

ed to make the Islamic regime a nuclear-armed state, are preparing for war. That’s exactly what the United States and Israel might have to deliver, and soon. @-Text.rag:Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ordered the Revolutionary Guards in May to speed up the regime’s nuclear-bomb program and arm its missiles with nuclear warheads. Now, sources reveal, Ayatollah Khamenei has ordered the guards to prepare for war.
In a recent meeting of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, it was decided that the possibility of an attack by Israel or America in 2012 is real and that the country’s forces need to prepare several contingencies for war. It also was concluded that in case of war, the regime could be victorious, though the cost would be high, but it would emerge as the one and only champion of the Islamic cause in the world.
The radicals ruling Iran have long believed that obtaining the nuclear bomb will make them untouchable and will facilitate the expansion of the Islamic movement in the region and the world in bringing the West to its knees. They also have concluded that because of the troubles in the world’s economy and financial troubles in America, even a limited confrontation with America would benefit the Islamic regime.
Just as Hezbollah outfought Israel in the 2006 war, Iran can claim victory against the U.S. in such a conflict, which could include attacking Israel from several fronts. But the real prize for the criminal mullahs would be that it would help the regime bring down the monarchy in Bahrain, create instability in Saudi Arabia and, most important, help the Islamists in Egypt undermine military rule. All this would occur by inciting uprisings for a war of Islam against infidels and Zionists.
The guards in their preparations have mapped out several options. One would be to disrupt the oil flow from the Persian Gulf. They know that about 40 percent of the world’s oil and the majority of oil exports of eight countries in the Persian Gulf pass through the Strait of Hormuz, a narrow waterway that could be blocked by the regime’s forces.
The guards’ navy of speedboats armed with cruise missiles, Iran’s submarines and, most important, the guards’ missiles of various kinds could be launched from deep within Iranand still target the narrow strait.

Occupy Charlotte burns the American flag.

RS RedState

Yeah, I know: “Occupy WHO?” Still, there are people out there who take the dirty hippie wannabees seriously, so every so often there needs to be a refresher post. In this case, the aforementioned dirty hippie wannabees managed to illegally* burn an American flag andgot arrested for it. With the Occupiers screaming epithets about fascists all the while.
Mind you, the geniuses were apparently doing the burning in the middle of their own squatters’ encampment. Which suggests that ‘fascist’ is semantically equivalent to ‘not willing to let dirty hippie wannabes auto-darwinate** themselves and their ilk;’ and before you renounce the ‘fascist’ label hereby, consider that permitting these idiots to immolate themselves would result in a very nasty cleanup job for some poor sanitation workers. To say nothing of the paperwork.

*Which is actually kind of hard to do in this here police state, given the way that the knuckle-dragging fascists running it have consistently declared burning the flag to be protected under the First Amendment.
**Thank you, Charlie Stross. Who will be no doubt at least mildly distressed to be referenced by a conservative blog. Particularly under these circumstances.

If these dirtbags really wanted to get noticed by the media, they could try burning the Quran.

Casa De Maryland To Raise $10 Mil For Campaign To Defend DREAM Act

Judicial Watch Blog
Corruption Chronicles

December 29, 2011

An activist group working to protect a new Maryland law granting illegal immigrants taxpayer-funded tuition benefits has plans to launch a multi-million-dollar fundraising campaign to help defend the measure from a ballot-referendum challenge.
Known as the Maryland DREAM Act, the law was enacted by the state’s General Assembly in April and signed by Governor Martin O’Malley weeks later. Essentially, it creates a new taxpayer-subsidized benefit — the ability to pay reduced tuition rates at Maryland community colleges and public higher education institutions—for certain eligible illegal aliens.
news report quotes the Department of Legislative Services, the research arm for the Maryland State Legislature, estimating that the DREAM Act could cost Maryland taxpayers $778,000 in fiscal year 2014 and up to $3.5 million in fiscal 2016 to subsidize the tuition rate undocumented students will receive.
To give voters a chance to eliminate this costly benefit for illegal aliens, a group ( led by Maryland Assembly Delegate Neil Parrott launched a highly successful petition campaign to put the issue to a vote. Almost twice the number of signatures (130,000) required for a referendum to appear on the November 2012 ballot were collected throughout the state.
In an effort to protect the public subsidies for illegal immigrants’ college tuition, a renowned open borders group, Casa de Maryland, went to court and tried to throw out tens of thousands of valid signatures. Judicial Watch represents, which simply wants to give citizens the chance to be heard on this important issue. Illegal immigrant lobbyists, like Casa de Maryland, want voters to have no direct say on the issue, even though their money will finance this new measure.
Earlier this month Casa de Maryland conceded that did in fact collect more than enough signatures, announcing that it will no longer challenge the “sufficiency and number of the petition signatures” gathered to place the repeal of the illegal alien tuition benefits policy on the November, 2012 Maryland ballot. However, the group continues to maintain that the Maryland DREAM Act cannot legally be subject to referendum.
But as argues in its court filings, Maryland voters are merely exercising their rights under Article XVI, Section 2 of the Maryland Constitution, which unambiguously states: “The people reserve to themselves power known as The Referendum, by petition to have submitted to the registered voters of the State, to approve or reject at the polls, any Act, or part of any Act of the General Assembly, if approved by the Governor, or, if passed by the General Assembly over the veto of the Governor.”
Casa has seemed to concede that its political lawsuit to derail the ballot measure will fail. So the group is hiring a fundraising manager to lead a new $10 million campaign to “raise dollars from individuals, unions, and corporations” to “defend the Maryland DREAM Act.”  The job description states that the new law is being “challenged through a ballot referendum challenge in the November 2012 elections.” The campaign fundraising manager job is described as a temporary position for an initiative called “Educating Maryland Kids.”
Of interesting note is that the assistant attorney general picked by President Obama to head the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) bloated civil rights division, former Maryland Labor Secretary Thomas Perez, served as president of the board of Casa de Maryland. The group is based in the state’s Tacoma Park area and proudly advertises its day laborer centers—in Baltimore, Wheaton and Silver Spring—which are all partially funded with public money from counties and cities.
A few years ago Casa de Maryland received a $1.5 million donation from Venezuela’s ardent anti-U.S. leader, socialist Hugo Chavez, who is a close ally of State Department terrorist nations like Iran, North Korea and Cuba. The Chavez-controlled Citgo Petroleum Corp. made the donation to support illegal aliens in the U.S. and the connection between the South American strongman and a top DOJ appointee is more than unsettling.
In a related matter, JW filed a taxpayer lawsuit early this year—before the DREAM Act passed—against the Board of Trustees of Maryland’s Montgomery College for unlawfully charging discounted “in county” tuition rates to students who graduate from public high schools in the county, regardless of their place of residency or immigration status.

Why must we taxpayers keep funding special benefits for those who have broken all of our laws. Rewarding lawbreakers is insanity.

Israel Offs Another Terrorist

December 30, 2011

(JERUSALEM) — The Israeli army says it has carried out an airstrike against a group of Palestinian militants preparing to launch rockets at Israel from the Gaza Strip.
The territory's Health Ministry says one man was killed and one wounded in the strike early on Friday.
The army says the airstrike thwarted an attempt by a group that had recently fired rockets at Israel.
Darn I don't have actual war porn of this strike but it probably looked something like this.

At PJ Media, Spengler (David P. Goldman) draws a provocative parallel between Iran’s mullahs and Ron Paul:

Rep. Ron Paul’s defense of Iran’s nuclear weapons program should surprise no one. The same resentment motivates Ron Paul and the Iranian leadership — a paranoid hostility toward a world that is swiftly changing and has little mercy, and a Millenarian desire to return to a mythical, untroubled past. Get rid of the Federal Reserve, scourge the bankers, return to a gold standard and erect a wall around the United States — and we will return to when? To 1957, when the Russians launched the first space satellite, alerting the United States to the danger that it might lose the Cold War? Then, as always, we prevailed, but by the skin of our teeth. Ron Paul’s program is an American version of the Iranian desire to return to a world of Islamic purity that never existed, any more than did a golden age of American isolationism. …

Mullah Paul voices the same fear and resentment in its milder American form. He has in common with the Iranians a desire to make the world go away, and a fixed idea that an evil conspiracy brought about all the problems. Ron Paul isn’t an Iranian, to be sure; he’s just the closest an American can come to thinking like an Iranian without actually moving there.

I am not sure that Spengler has Paul pegged, but he definitely nails the real mullahs:

By teaching Iranian girls to read, the late Shah set off a cultural chain-reaction: fertility has fallen from 7 children per female a generation ago to just 1.5 today, a catastrophic decline unparalleled in demographic history. And mosque attendance is down to only 2% by some estimates. Creative destruction has burst in upon Iran and turned its society inside-out. The mullahs still have all the money in Iran’s hydrocarbon monoculture, and almost all the guns, and they will do anything necessary to turn the clock back. Their world is disappearing in front of their eyes. They have nothing to lose.

Of course, the mullahs would have nothing without the global economy; after oil, Iran exports nothing but pistachios and carpets. Without foreign oil companies, the mullahs could not drill, pump, or ship their hydrocarbons. The whole apparatus of Iranian Islam is a theme park, an Shi’ite Disneyland funded by oil revenues, perpetuating a barbaric society that could not feed itself without global demand for the natural resources that, by unlucky accident, happen to be located in Iranian territory.

Of course, by lucky accident, far greater quantities of petroleum reside in North America. Unfortunately, we have a government that prefers to empower the mullahs rather than allow Americans to make money by developing our own resources.

Cops Raid Butterball Farms After Undercover Video Exposes horrific Abuse of Turkeys

Last updated at 9:35 PM on 29th December 2011

The turkeys are coming home to roost at Butterball.
After a pattern of vicious abuse was caught on tape and posted online, authorities in North Carolina have raided a facility of the turkey giant.
The raid came after allegations made by animal advocacy group Mercy for Animals, who sent an undercover investigator to work for the company for three weeks.
Scroll down for video (Warning: Graphic content)
Shocking abuse: An investigator for Mercy for Animals working undercover at the Butterball plant found many turkeys like this one, subjected to kicking and stomping at the facility
Shocking abuse: An investigator for Mercy for Animals working undercover at the Butterball plant found many turkeys like this one, subjected to kicking and stomping at the facility
What the investigator found was shocking abuse of the turkeys, leaving many with missing eyes, deformed feet and other injuries.
Other findings included squalid conditions that left the turkeys living in their own waste and covered in flies.
The undercover video, which was posted to YouTube on December 23, showed workers savagely kicking and stomping on the turkeys and dragging them around by their necks.
Mercy for Animals said they immediately contacted law enforcement about the abuse at the facility.
The group added that the Hoke County Sheriff’s office executed a warrant this morning at the farm.

A call to Hoke County Sheriff Hubert Peterkin was not immediately returned.

And as provocative as the undercover investigation may be, it's nothing new.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals conducted a similar operation in 2006 that exposed rampant abuse at a Butterball plant in Arkansas.
Today's raid comes on the heels of other legal action taken against the North Carolina-based Butterball.
Earlier this month, a federal anti-discrimination lawsuit accused the company of firing an HIV-positive employee after she repeatedly reported co-workers for harassing her.
Tracy Montgomery processed turkey parts at Butterball's Kinston plant for about five weeks in 2009.
