Sexual Slavery in Britain and Its PC Enablers

Islamist  Watch Blog

What do victims of the Fort Hood massacre have in common with scores of raped British girls? Both are evidence that failure to speak and act against Islamist threats due to fear of being called a racist or "Islamophobe" can lead to terrible suffering. While the missed signs concerning Major Hasan are well known, the UK scandal deserves attention as a study in official blindness.

MP Jack Straw sparked a firestorm in January when he highlighted a particular genre of sex crime: gangs of "Pakistani heritage men … who target vulnerable young white girls" and groom them as sex slaves. He hypothesized that Pakistani girls are off limits, so whites are "easy meat."

Some branded Straw a bigot, but sexual grooming by UK gangs does exhibit a clear cultural profile. University College London investigators "identified 17 court prosecutions since 1997, 14 of them in the past three years, involving the on-street grooming of girls aged 11 to 16 by groups of men," the Daily Mail summarizes. "Three of the 56 [found guilty] were white; 53 were Asian. Of those, 50 were Muslim and a majority were members of the British Pakistani community." Also note that 22 of the 27 victims of a recently convicted "Asian" gang from Derby are white.

The real disgrace is that Straw had to sound the alarm yet again in 2011. Former MP Ann Cryer warned about the problem in 2003; Muslim leader Mohammed Shafiq did the same in 2008. Why was it allowed to metastasize for so long? As exemplified in the shelving of a 2004 British documentary on the topic, PC-driven silence, especially by law enforcement, aided the rapists.

Now the finger pointing is in full swing. "To stop this type of crime you need to start everyone talking about it, but everyone's been too scared to address the ethnicity factor," lamented West Mercia Police detective Alan Edwards. Mick Gradwell, a retired Lancashire officer, seconded him. Police are "not coming out and saying it because you can't feel comfortable, because of allegations of institutional racism," he contended. Pakistanis also have joined in. "It is important that political correctness or fear of offending any particular group of people does not get in the way of protecting those who are vulnerable," community activist Shokat Lal stated in 2010.

However, is the core issue one of ethnicity or religious ideology? Martin Narey of Barnardo's, a charitable organization, inadvertently spotlighted Islamism when he criticized the focus on Pakistani street groomers: "My staff would say that there is an overrepresentation of people from minority ethnic groups — Afghans, people from Arabic nations — but it's not just one nation." (What do they have in common?) Sikh leader Indarjit Singh was more explicit, blaming "Islamic extremists [who] view all 'nonbelievers' as legitimate targets," including Hindu and Sikh girls.
The good news is that recent cases and Straw's remarks have made blindness untenable. There are hints that British authorities are taking the epidemic of rape gangs more seriously, though much work needs to be done to combat sexual slavery of this and other types. The bad news, of course, is that lives have been shattered because officials spent years walking on eggshells rather than fully protecting the public. With gangs of Muslim sex traffickers emerging in the U.S., now would be an excellent time to process these harsh lessons on how silence creates victims.

Obama is "innately hostile to America"

Posted by Rick

Published: February 27, 2011 - 1:22 PM

That from Mike McDaniel at PajamasMedia is incredibly difficult to refute:

Begin with the reality that Mr. Obama is a socialist. Those doubting this assertion of fact need only refer to Radical-in-Chief: Barack Obama and the Untold Story of American Socialism. There, Stanley Kurtz meticulously and undeniably lays bare Mr. Obama's socialist education, associations, mentoring, roots, beliefs, and actions. Let us also keep in mind that socialism, like Marxism, is fundamentally incompatible with freedom, democracy, and capitalism as embodied in America's founding documents and as practiced in America. If Mr. Obama is indeed a socialist -- and he is -- then his belief system, his way of thinking, is innately hostile to America. Socialism and American democracy cannot coexist, so if Mr. Obama is pursuing socialist policies, American democracy must, of necessity, be weakened or destroyed.

But if this is true, how did Mr. Obama become president? It boils down to this: He lied. He lied about who he is, about his background, his fundamental beliefs, his intentions, and his methods. He employed standard Marxist/socialist tactics and concealed his true nature so as to seize power and impose his will, and for two years, he pretty much got away with it.

Children of Terror

Thanks to Kitman TV for this video

This film deals with the militant madrassas in Sudan often inhabited by the orphans of the jihad in southern Sudan, Darfur, Nigeria and Chad. Here, the men are usually enslaved or killed; the women, if not killed, are taken north and sold after enduring sadistic rapes. But the children are often kidnapped and deported to terrorist training camps, where they are brainwashed into the Islamic ideology of hate and trained for military warfare against non-Muslims and the west. When they finish their schooling they are sent back home or abroad to establish sleeper cells and await orders from religious leaders.

You need to install or upgrade Flash Player to view this content, install or upgrade by clicking here.

This strategy of child deportation and indoctrination has been documented in other wars on innocent non-Muslims and seems to be a jihadi tradition. At least, it carries the distinctive mark of the Islamic strategy: feed off the enemy while you fight him. Within this field Islamic teachings really are highly developed and innovative, applying hundreds and hundreds of often complicated schemes and rackets to bleed the dragon. In fact, "terror" seems to be one such scheme. The creativity behind these traditions of jihad, is so downright evil it boggles the mind, but when one understands the true implications of a doctrine of permanent war one realises a neccessity at work and begin to find these vicious systems of exploitation feeding off non-muslim societies time and time again. A kind of ancient jihad economics is in play, in which the kafirs figure as nothing but a natural resource.

The documentary contains original footage from these child terrorist camps which was sent to thousands of Muslims in the West to raise alms for jihad. In the video we are told that "these are the children the West fails to see, the children the West fears the most." "Each one of them has been trained with an AK-47 assault rifle and will do their duty to Allah and the Ummah when called upon to do so"

What this "duty" is, and how many of the "youths" of the West actually stayed in extremist madrassas before being welcomed as de facto refugees, "unaccompanied minors. asylum seekers, and immigrants we have yet to see. But human trafficking being yet another branch of jihad economics, one has to hope for the best but expect the worst.

Darpa’s Cheetah-Bot Designed to Chase Human Prey
Feb 25, 2011

Perhaps you thought the four-legged BigDog robot wasn’t eerily lifelike enough. That’ll change soon. BigDog’s makers are working on a new quadruped that moves faster than any human and is agile enough to “chase and evade.”

Boston Dynamics, maker of the Army’s BigDog robotic mule, announced today that Darpa has awarded it a contract to build a much faster and more fearsome animal-like robot, Cheetah.

As the name implies, Cheetah is designed to be a four-legged robot with a flexible spine and articulated head (and potentially a tail) that runs faster than the fastest human. In addition to raw speed, Cheetah’s makers promise that it will have the agility to make tight turns so that it can “zigzag to chase and evade” and be able to stop on a dime.

Cheetah builds off work on the company’s previous four legged animal bot, BigDog. It was built as a kind of unmanned pack mule, designed to carry equipment for troops on the battlefield. The robotic donkey could carry 300 lbs. over 13 miles on flat ground, take a swift kick and keep on moving. It’s creepy, lifelike movement can be seen on a number of videos online, climbing over hills and snow and hiking alongside soldiers, using GPS coordinates as its waypoints.

Aside from its unspecified military applications, Cheetah’s makers see it galloping to the rescue and building a brave new future in the fields of “emergency response, firefighting, advanced agriculture and vehicular travel.”

Think that’s creepy? Wait till you see its humanoid, Terminator look-alike buddy.

Meet Atlas, Cheetah’s humanoid pal. Atlas is supposed to look more or less like the T-800 series of Terminators, minus the head. Its designers say it’ll be able to walk like a human over rough terrain, crawling on its hands and knees when necessary and turning itself sideways to slip through any narrow passages it encounters. Headless, with a torso and two arms, it’s a step up from Boston Dynamics’ other biped, the lower-body-bot Petman.

Petman was built to test out chemical weapons protective suits for the Army by “walking, crawling and doing a variety of suit-stressing calisthenics” and “simulat[ing] human physiology.” Designers made it capable of walking heel-to-toe at 3.2 miles per hour and staying upright even after it gets pushed.

As the new models go into development, let’s hope Cheetah never develops a taste for human flesh and that Atlas doesn’t have any hard feelings about its predecessor being a poison-gas guinea pig for the Army.

The Great British Pub In Muslim Occupied England

Published on 26-02-2011 06:45  Number of Views: 6
As I was reading the reports from the trial of the two poppy burners I noted the following status posted on Facebook by one of the EDL administrators:

English Defence League (EDL): When edl went to the poppy burners case at lunch time we all went to the pub across the road the landlord said we are welcome bck anytime he took 3500.00 that day he had one complaint about us being there and the complainant had only spent 3.00 all day so anytime you near belmarsh go have a carvery for 3,50 buy some beer and say hello they made us welcome and yes the carvery was 3,50

And it made me think about all the other EDL stories that are centered around pubs. Demos begin in pubs when the authorities allow us, people gather after in pubs, local divisions hold countless meetings in pubs to meet new members and discuss what the EDL stand for and what they're going to do about it.

Pubs are central to the life of the EDL as they once were to life of so much more of England. Beyond the sale and consumption of alcohol, pubs have served as the meeting rooms for a large part of the British population that don't have enormous houses or access to swish business meeting rooms or academic premises.

There have been a number of pressures forcing pubs to close in large numbers over the last few years. Some of these are openly discussed ad infinitum and, as usual, one is swept under the carpet.

We know that cheap booze from the super markets has dented the pubs profitability and takings. Rapidly rising property prices made marginal or unprofitable pubs (usually owned by the big brewing companies with an obligation to share holders) meant pubs are often sold for re-development as flats or other buildings.

But there is another problem on the horizon for the pub that is spoken of in hushed tones: what happens to all the pubs in Muslim occupied areas of England? A business built on beer and pork scratchings is not going to do well once an area is 80% Muslim. Really, how many "Halal Pubs" will there ever be in England?

It's impossible to believe the big brewing companies haven't seen the change coming. They've pushed food into pubs, but even that isn't going to be enough to satisfy a Muslim demographic. The presence of alcohol, no matter how Halal they make the chicken, is going to mean no large Muslim patronage of pubs. And that means many Muslims exclude themselves from this aspect of English life.

And yet EDL enemies have tried to scare pub landlords into prohibiting EDL meetings and closing during demos because of the usual lies about us. Well the EDL can be a pub's best friends.

So if you know a good pub, perhaps where you hold local division meetings, do all you can to help it. Boycotts are what the other side does: we prefer a positive message. Let pubs know that the EDL is an organisation dedicated to defending English culture and pubs are a very big part of that!

Who Appointed Ali Sina?

Posted by Ali Sina On February 19th, 2011

Ali Sina of FFI is either a born non-Muslim or from Shia/Ahmedi background who has probably converted to pro-Zionist Christianity. He is a liar and a self-deceiver. He is being tormented inside because of the envious success of the final prophet of Islam. He has been appointed to eradicate Islam and Muslims from the face of the earth within the next 25 years started from 9/11. Since then the fool has been trying his level best! Let’s see what he can do.

I was born to Muslim parents, Shiite Twelvers. You say the Shiites are not real Muslims. The Shiites say Sunnis are not real Muslims. This is the nature of Islam. Muhammad said his followers will split in 73 sects. All but one will go to hell. But he did not make it clear what is the characteristic of the right sect. As the result Muslims have been divided in hundreds of sects and each, in accordance to what their prophet said, thinks others are heretics and will go to hell. It is as if he sowed the seed of discord among his followers by design. So, after Muslims butcher and subdue the non-Muslims, they will fall on each other and will tear one another apart like mad dogs, as they do in Iraq and Pakistan today. What a religion!

I am a Zionist and very proud of it. Zionist means one who thinks Jews have the right to have their own homeland. I agree with that. This makes me a Zionist. Any decent person must be a Zionist. Only hate mongers and criminals like Ahmadinejad, Hitler, the neo Nazis and Muslims are against Zionism. I certainly don’t want to belong to that class.

Am I a liar and a deceiver? Well here is your chance to show that to the world. Read my book and write a rebuttal to it.

A Muslim woman burned from archives

I have not been appointed by anyone. I am not that important for anyone to appoint me to anything. I have decided to eradicate Islam on my own initiative. I read the Quran and realized Islam is a lie in 1994. It took me a couple of years to admit it to myself. Had I had Understanding Muhammad to read, it would have taken me much less time. But I read The 23 Years Prophetic Career by Ali Dashti and it helped me a lot.

However, it was a Pakistani girl who appointed me to eradicate Islam. I met her after she had died. Her story was broadcast in a television documentary. She was 16 and was burned alive by her 35 years old husband. The reason he burned her was because this girl’s cousin and childhood playmate had come to see her. They had grown up with each other. When her husband learned about it, his ghira was injured and he thought the best way to save his “honor” was to burn her.

I saw her lying in the hospital bed. Her entire body was burned. She could not talk. She moaned like an injured animal. She looked at the camera and raised her hand and moaned. At that moment, I was absolutely sure that she was calling me. She was begging me to do something. She told me don’t let this happen to others. She died a few days after that. I gave her my word. I promised her to vindicate her death and not let her precious life go to waste. She was not the victim of an abusing husband. She was a victim of Islam. Her abusive husband was also a victim of Islam. The entire Pakistan and the whole Muslim world is victim of Islam. Now you know who actually appointed me. If there is an afterlife, I fancy meeting this girl in the other world, hug her, press her to my chest and tell her, my little girl, I heard you calling me. I hearkened. I did what I could. Are you happy now?

Rubin Reports: Persecution of Christians Begins in Democratic Egypt

Rubin Reports
By Barry Rubin

Once the revolution began, Egypt’s Christians knew precisely what to expect. It isn’t that the regime of Husni Mubarak protected them so well from Muslim wrath. On the contrary, it was reluctant to prosecute Muslims who attacked and killed or wounded Christians as well as damaged or destroyed churches. The government often arrested Christians who defended themselves. But at least the regime’s power restrained anarchy, caught terrorists, and kept the Islamists at bay.

Now all that has changed. Despite the widely publicized statements by Brotherhood ideologue Yusuf al-Qaradawi in favor of Muslim-Christian amity in his big Cairo rally, this has no effect on the ground. In Assiut, a Coptic priest was stabbed 22 times by a man yelling “Allahu Akhbar.” Next, the Egyptian army—the guardian of democracy as it is now styled—attacked the St. Bishoy monastery outside of Cairo and the St. Makarios monastery near Alexandria, using tanks and bullets. One monk was wounded and several were beaten.

Why? This is a point of tremendous significance. According to Islamic law, in countries governed by Islam new churches or synagogues cannot be built and existing ones cannot be repaired. The goal, of course, is to foster the decline and extinction of all religions other than Islam. Even in Turkey, the government has frequently tried to enforce this in practice.

During the revolutionary disturbances the monasteries had built walls to protect themselves and Christians who flocked there for refuge. Now the army is tearing down those walls so they will not be available in future to defend Christians.

Of course, the existence of these walls threaten no one. There is no conceivable reason--except for Islamic law--that they not be left in place. Indeed, with all the other problems Egypt has for the army to make this demolition a top priority tells a lot about the nature of the new Egypt.

This is only the beginning. What should be obvious is the following: a democratically elected Egyptian government—even a non-Islamist one--will not protect Christians and arrest, prosecute, and imprison Muslims who attack them. Why? Because it won’t be popular with the voters. The government would be branded as anti-Muslim and in the pay of the Pope, the West, and the Zionists. That’s how Middle East politics work, as I pointed out with this historical example.

Many of these attacks will be perpetuated by radical Islamist groups whose members have come to consider the Muslim Brotherhood too cautious. This is precisely what happened in the 1990s, when scores of Christians were murdered with virtually no prosecution of those responsible.

And presumably whether or not Egypt becomes a state based on Sharia law--something that could even happen under a non- or even anti-Islamist government--the new regime will enforce restrictive provisions of Islamic law on the large (but probably shrinking through desperate emigration) Christian minority.

Persecution against Christians will grow, whether or not it is reported in the Western media.

Wide Ranging Interview With Allen West

Allen West won't take any bull from CAIR and other Muslim organizations hell bent on pushing Sharia here in America.

Oklahoma Police Captain Sues Supervisor for Mandatory Attendance at Islamic Group Event

Captain Paul Fields is under internal investigation after he refuses to take order from a higher ranking officer. Fields was ordered to assign officers to the Islamic Society of Tulsa's Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.

A Tulsa police captain has filed a federal lawsuit claiming his civil rights were violated after he was reassigned and placed under investigation for refusing to order officers to attend a voluntary social event at a mosque.

Capt. Paul Fields claims he was ordered to assign police officers to attend a law enforcement appreciation day at the Islamic Society of Tulsa. Fields refused that order because he said it violated his religious beliefs.

Click here to read the lawsuit.

“When you become a police officer you don’t give up any of your constitutional rights,” said Scott Wood, a Tulsa attorney representing Fields. He called it a case of political correctness gone too far.

The lawsuit names Deputy Chief Daryl Webster as the lone defendant – accusing him of retaliating against Fields for exercising his First Amendment rights. Fields is asking for one dollar in nominal damages, along with attorneys fees.

The police department could not comment on the lawsuit.

However, Tulsa Police Chief Chuck Jordan told Fox23-TV the mosque event was about community relations – not religion.  This is total Bullshit.

“I would never assign a police officer to participate in a religious service,” he said. “This is about a group who bonded together because of their religion. We are not going there because they are Islamic. We are going there because they are Tulsa citizens.”

Fields has been on the police force for 16 years and has at least six commendations. Wood says Fields has had a “stellar career” without any disciplinary actions.

In essence, Wood said Fields was retaliated against for not voluntarily attending a mosque. It’s a case of political correctness, he said.

“That’s definitely what it is,” Wood said. “But political correctness has nothing to do with the First Amendment.”

The events leading to the lawsuit started last week when members of the Tulsa Police Department were invited to attend a “Law Enforcement Appreciation Day” at the Islamic Center of Tulsa.

It was advertised as a social gathering featuring food, an opportunity to watch a Muslim prayer service, and an invitation to join lectures on beliefs, human rights and women.

According to Wood, no one responded to the invitations and no one volunteered. The following day, Fields received a directive ordering him to find officers to attend.

“This is a program put on by the mosque for the officers, not the officers for the mosque,” Wood said. “He did not believe it was police-related or related to his duties and he was not going to do something that conflicted with his religious beliefs.”

Wood said to their knowledge Tulsa police officers have never been ordered to attend non-police related events at synagogues or Christian houses of worship.

The controversy has sparked national interest among Muslims. Ibrahim Hooper, the spokesman for the Council on America-Islamic Relations said he was following the incident and said it’s an example of “anti-Muslim bigotry.”

“When somebody feels empowered to say, ‘I’m not going to take part in a community outreach event at a mosque because I basically don’t like Muslims,’ it’s all part of that rise in Islamophobia in our society,” he said.

But Scott emphatically denied CAIR’s accusations. CAIR a supporter of Hamas.

“Captain Fields would lay down his life for anyone in that mosque if the need arose regardless of their color, creed or their background,” Wood said. “The purported reason for this law enforcement appreciation day was because of the department’s performance in catching someone who had made threats against the mosque. You can’t have it both ways. ‘You did a great job protecting us, but you’re a bigot?’”

New Country: Southern Sudan

Gaddafi's Fin de Régime

by Daniel Pipes
February 24, 2011
Cross-posted from National Review Online: The Corner

The violent demise of the Middle East's longest-ruling leader – who came to office in September 1969, just a few months after Richard Nixon – stands well outside the mainstream of the region's politics, but then Moammer Gaddafi always did.

Gaddafi (for the record, the correct spelling of his name is Mu'ammar al-Qadhdhāfi) began his rule at the tender age of 27, just as Pan-Arabist ideology was dying down; undeterred, long after others had given up on this fantasy, he remained a proponent of the notion of turning all Arabic countries into one gigantic whole. Eventually frustrated with Arabic-speakers, where the small population of Libya limited his influence, he turned south, where his outsized energy income bestowed real clout in Africa.

Fortunately for the world, every one of his hare-brained schemes came to naught. What I observed in 1981 still holds true: "For all Qadhdhafi's hyperactivity, he rarely gets his way; empty promises and fanaticism on his part have repeatedly undermined his ceaseless efforts to project power. … Qadhdhafi has won many battles but not a single war."

How deeply satisfying will it be to watch as a brave and desperate people sweep this eccentric, nasty, and repressive tyrant into the dustbin of history. How gratifying that he has alienated nearly the entire world, even the U.N. Security Council. May his ugly example serve as a permanent warning to other dictators who make war on their populations.

On a personal note: I have watched Gaddafi with interest through the years in part because my career in Middle East studies began coterminous with his rule. Also, he invited me in 2007 to Libya for a one-on-one chat. Although at the time curious about meeting him, in retrospect I am glad I did not. A shower does not cleanse oneself of some encounters. The Trial of the Poppy Burners

People will remember the outrageous act of burning a poppy representation that took place on Armistice Day and the trial that started at Belmarsh Magistrates’ Court today relates to the events of that day. Mohammed Haque and Emdadur Choudhury faced court for the actions that they are accused of committing on Armatice Day. The two were accused of public disorder by using "threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of people who would be harassed, alarmed or disturbed by it". The EDL was outside court show its profound outrage against the deeds that were committed against a respected national symbol and institution on that day.

However, the accused are actually charged with the wrong crime and if they are found guilty it will strengthen the hand of those who want to use the legal system to suppress any dissent that goes against the worldview of the establishment. It is only through clenched teeth that the British authorities seek to bring charges against those who appear to loath and despise their supposed homeland. We remember how long it took to prosecute some token people following the infamous scenes outside the Danish Embassy where placards threatening death and destruction were brandished and curses against the West and democracy uttered. The charges brought against Messrs Haque and Choudhury are merely a device to clamp down, not on Islamism and but on those who oppose it as a threat to the security of the British people.

The anti-democratic and anti free speech impulses of the British establishment are well documented, as is the iniquitous way in which vague laws are applied in Britain. For once the accusation of "threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour within the hearing or sight of people who would be harassed, alarmed or disturbed by it" is, unusually, been applied against Muslims. Perhaps this token case has been brought to cynically demonstrate that we are in fact all equal before the law, even though past experience does not point to such a fact. It is very doubtful that such balance will continue, and many would argue that such laws were established specifically to protect Islam from valid criticism.

The Government may want to define what constitutes ‘reasonable protest’ because that gives it power and takes it away from us the people. The Government’s main aim is to take power from the people and gather it up greedily for itself. When it has been taken they will make it impossible for anyone to question their plan to encourage the spread of sharia norms in our society or whatever other secret plans they have for the British people.

We are opposed to people burning our national symbols in the streets, not because we are against them expressing their views but because by burning our symbols they are deliberately undermining our country and its institutions. In so doing they are putting us all in danger and supporting those abroad that want to see our country and its way of life destroyed. It is not for the Government or the EDL to define what constitutes ‘reasonable protest’ because that gives it power and as a consequence takes it away from us the people.

With regard to those who disrespect our national symbols and institutions, if they want to behave in such a churlish, puerile, and disgusting way then that is their right as heirs to the British tradition of freedom and tolerance. This applies to jihadists and mainstream politicians alike. So long as they do not incite or commit acts of violence, or attempt to set up tyrannical forms of government, then our most sacred tradition of freedom of expression must allow them to express themselves freely. However, it must be made clear that the actions of the poppy burners is profoundly offensive to any person who truly believes in this country and who respects the sacrifice of those who have fought and suffered in its name.

However, what the EDL will continue to do is reserve the right to counter protest whenever it sees people behaving in a way that it believes is unreasonable. Whenever people take it upon themselves to disrespect our country, our soldiers, or our way of life we will be there to highlight our outrage in order to attempt to change the behaviour of the perpetrators. We will be there to confront those who wave the black flag of Islam and threaten to overthrow our way of life whether our politicians want to brush the problem under the carpet or not.

Whether the Islamists make fools out of themselves in these public manifestations of hatred to Britain is not what is of greatest concern to us but what lies behind such manifestations. What Islamists represent is something that is incompatible with our democratic way of life, and it is something that is a clear and present threat to our national security and way of life. Our Government should be enacting legislation to ensure that those who seek to subvert our democracy are properly punished by our judicial system. This is something that they will probably never do; in fact many people believe that if they did many senior political figures from across the mainstream political spectrum would end up facing charges in court.

Open criticism of the actions of your own country is one thing, but when that disloyalty comes from people who want to replace our democratic institutions with sharia law then that is far more serious. Our feelings have been upset by what happened on Armistice Day, but our concern is the deliberate and systematic destruction of our country by the Islamists who are being aided and abetted by our own national elite class.

When David Cameron spoke out against radicalisation and Islamic extremism earlier this month in Munich he does not seem to have followed up with any actual policy changes so what was the point of his words? Nothing has changed with regard to Islamisation, and sharia law is not something that is criticised and declared as invalid. The Archbishop of Canterbury has not come out and declared his opposition to sharia law. Nothing is being done to ensure that the 40% of British Muslims who indicated support for sharia law, in a poll conducted for the Sunday Telegraph, are being encouraged to change their attitudes. Children are still going on mosque visits from school in the name of community cohesion but they are not being educated about the threat posed by sharia as part of the same sentiment. In fact a process of "desensitisation" is being forced upon our children with regard to sharia.

When it comes down to it, the British people oppose those who burn poppies and resist those who seek to enslave them. Support for sharia norms must be legally defined as an act of sedition and punished by our legal system accordingly.

Dr. Efraim Sneh, Ex Deputy Defense Minister: "It's all about Iran

In the Middle East, the threat map is always changing. invited Dr. Efraim Sneh, former Deputy Defense Minister, to talk about the current threats Israel faces. We met Dr. Sneh a few days before the riots in Egypt erupted. Looking at the overall picture, what's the most serious threat Israel faces today?

Dr. Sneh: Israel is facing one main enemy - Iran. With its race to nuclear weapons Iran is an enemy by itself. However, Iran has managed to create 3 additional fronts against Israel – Hezbollah in Lebanon is armed with tens of thousands of rockets from Iran, Hamas in Gaza is armed with thousands of rockets from Iran, and the global Islamic terror Iran supports makes the 3rd front in which every Jewish entity is a target. Israel has to build up its capabilities to address the Iranian threat and its extensions. What's your take on Lebanon and Hezbollah's attempt to take over the government in Lebanon? How will it change Israel's behavior?

Dr. Sneh: In many ways, Hezbollah has already taken over Lebanon. It has turned Lebanon into an Iranian front base on the border with Israel. Hezbollah already has a majority in the Lebanese. They already had veto rights in the previous government and now they are taking additional steps to put a formal stamp on their control over Lebanon. From Israel's perspective the fact that Hezbollah is in control means the Lebanese government is responsible for all actions against Israel. Hezbollah is no longer a terrorist organization which actions do not represent the Lebanese government. Hezbollah now represent Lebanon. Of course, this should be taken into account when considering the aid the west supplied Hariri's government. The US alone gives Lebanon at least $100M in aid – to give that aid to a government controlled by Iran's proxy will be very dangerous. With Hezbollah forming the new government in Lebanon, is an Islamic revolution the next step?

Dr. Sneh: Iran has created Hezbollah to export the Islamic revolution. Hezbollah has won all its political power using weapons Iran supplied. They are holding a country hostage with those weapons. In 2008, Hezbollah turned the heat on in Beirut, burned a TV station and killed tens of people. They then turned around and said you want this to stop, give us more minister positions and more political power. They got what they want. This is how Iran exports the revolution – through threats and weapons. Let's talk about Iran's nuclear weapons program – there are many contradicting estimations as to how long it will take Iran to build its own nuclear bomb – what do you think?

Dr. Sneh: There are many estimates and at the end of the day the exact estimate does not matter. Iran has the ambition and the capability to build nuclear weapons. If it takes them 3 years or 5 years to get there it makes no difference. It's like a speeding train – the train has left the station and is making its way to the destination. Now it's your decision when and how to stop this train. How can the world stop Iran from building nuclear weapons?

Dr. Sneh: There are 2 main possibilities to stop Iran – the first is to use sanctions that will convince the regime to drop its nuclear ambition. If that doesn't work, the only option is a military strike that will set back Iran's capabilities and will buy us another few years before Iran will reach nuclear weapons capabilities again. Sanctions are a better route since military strike has a high price for both sides. However, since Iran has been under severe sanctions for a few years and is still defiant in its nuclear weapons ambition, a military strike may be the only choice in this matter. What happens if and when Iran succeeds in becoming a nuclear power? How will that change the Middle East?

Dr. Sneh: If and when Iran succeeds in building nuclear weapons 2 main changes will occur. Egypt and Saudia will start their own race to build nuclear weapons. They will not stand aside and allow Iran become the only Muslim state with nuclear weapons. The Middle East will become a nuclear disaster waiting to happen. Israel will find itself living in the neighborhood with at least 3 Arab countries with nuclear weapons. In Iran, there is already an Islamic regime that wants to wipe Israel off the map. Egypt and Saudia both have strong radical Islamic opposition forces that can take control one of those days. These Islamic powers do not share the same values as the west and such Islamic powers will control nuclear weapons.

From Israel's perspective this dramatically changes the balance in the Middle East and not to Israel's favor. This is likely to have direct negative impact on the amount of foreign investments in Israel as well as the number of Jews making Aliya to Israel. Can we compare the situation to the nuclear balance between the US and the Soviet Union in the 1960s?

Dr. Sneh: Many people use this comparison to claim that even if Iran will have nuclear weapons they will not use them. I think this comparison is wrong and irrelevant. Between the US and the Soviet Union there was a balance of power based on mutual deterrence and symmetry. Both countries are large in territory with similar population size. Most importantly both countries were controlled by leaders that did not want to go to war. Look at the Cuba Missile crisis – at the end of the day, both Kennedy and Khrushchev put their foot down and said NO to a nuclear war. Comparing that to the situation with Iran is very superficial. Israel is a very small country in size making it very vulnerable to a nuclear weapon strike. Furthermore, the heart of Israel's economy is located around Tel Aviv. The impact of a strike there will cripple down Israel's vast economy. Iran is a much larger country making it less vulnerable in those terms. There is no symmetry between Iran and Israel and as such there can be no balance of deterrence between them.

If you look at the regime in Iran it is pragmatic only on one issue. When it comes to fighting the West and in specific the Jewish state, Iran puts aside many religious issues for their single most important objective. When supporting Sunni Hamas they overcome the vast religious difference between Shia and Sunni in Islam. When embracing the Taliban in Afghanistan they put aside religious differences. Iran has a single theological goal and that is to turn the world into an Islamic entity. In their world order there is no room for Christians or Jewish people. When it comes to achieving that goal the regime is very pragmatic. In that view, erasing the Jewish state off the map is not just a crazy statement. It is a real concrete goal in the eyes of Iran. The regime will be willing to sacrifices millions of Iranians to that end. They can always justify that by claiming they became Shahids and end up in heaven.

In the Shia Islamic culture life is not cherished. Here is another example – in the 2nd war with Lebanon, 50% of the civilian casualties in Israel were Arab citizens. Hezbollah had not moral issue with the fact their missiles killed their fellow Arab brothers. They claimed that all the Arabs that died in Israel are Shahids and solved the moral dilemma with that.

So you cannot talk about deterrence and balance with a regime that's willing to sacrifice millions in the name of a religious war. This was not the case between the US and the Soviet Union.

During the long war between Iran and Iraq, the Iranian regime sent children to clear up bomb mine fields. Thousands of kids were killed that way. So if they don't value the lives of their children will they think responsibly about using a nuclear bomb? Let's talk about Hamas – we are about 2 years after operation Cast Lead – are we heading to another round?

Dr. Sneh: Without doubt – another round against Hamas is just a matter of time. When you reach critical mass you have to act – we can wait a bit but it's not going to last forever. It's the same with Lebanon/Hezbollah. When Israel withdrew from Lebanon in 2000 some felt we solved the problem but I always said that as long as Hezbollah is in Lebanon we will have to deal with them. In 2006, 6 years after Israel withdrew, we had to fight Hezbollah. It's the same with Hamas. As long as Hamas is in control of Gaza we will have to fight them. Any quiet on that front is only temporary. What's the situation in Gaza from your view?

Dr. Sneh: With the tunnels in full operation, the situation in Gaza is very good. I sat with a Palestinian businessman and he told me let's compete – we both order a refrigerator, in Gaza and in Israel at the same time, and see who gets it first. Hamas uses the tunnels to transfer everything, even fuel for the power plant. If Egypt was to clamp down on the tunnels we might be able to remove Hamas from power. But as long as Hamas transfers everything through the tunnels there is not much that can be done. Do you think Hamas might take over the West Bank?

Dr. Sneh: If the peace process will totally collapse, Hamas might be able to take over the west bank as well. Those that oppose Hamas use the peace process as the reason to object Hamas. If you take hope for peace away there might be a chance for Hamas to capture the West Bank.

Russia tightens Caucasus security, 3 bombs defused

Reuters, 20/02 18:33 CET

By Alexei Anishchuk

MOSCOW (Reuters) – Three bombs were defused in Russia’s violence-plagued North Caucasus on Sunday, a news agency reported, as authorities stepped up security days after militants shot dead five people.

Police discovered the three bombs, containing an estimated 70 kg (154 lb) of TNT, in a car parked near a hotel in a village in the region of Kabardino-Balkaria.

“If (the bombs) had gone off, serious casualties… would have been inevitable,” RIA news agency quoted a local law enforcement official as saying.

Russia faces a long-running Islamist insurgency on its southern rim. Last month a suicide bomber from the North Caucasus killed 36 people at Moscow’s biggest airport.

On Friday assailants shot five vacationers from the Moscow area, killing three and wounding two. On Saturday a police officer was killed in Nalchik, capital of Kabardino-Balkaria, and the head of a nearby village was shot dead by unknown gunmen.

A cable-car was blown up on Friday night on Mount Elbrus, the highest peak in the Caucasus. Although no casualties were reported, the local authorities decided to close the ski resort. It reopened on Sunday, but some tourists were reported leaving the slopes.

Authorities were enforcing tighter security under a so-called regime of counter-terrorist operation.

The insurgency has spread from separatist Chechnya in the past decade to other North Caucasus provinces. Most attacks have targeted police, security forces and government officials. They threaten to undermine the Kremlin’s plans to draw in investment and tourists by developing ski resorts in the region west of Sochi, where Russia is to host the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Documents Show Jihadists Seek Mass-Destruction Weapons

IPT News

February 18, 2011

Diplomatic cables released by Wikileaks provide another reminder that al-Qaida remains committed to obtaining weapons of mass destruction (WMD) - nuclear, chemical and biological weapons and "dirty bombs." Security briefing cables published by the London Telegraph – some as recent as 2009 – state that jihadists are close to making "workable and efficient biological and chemical weapons" capable of killing thousands of people if used to attack the West.

The cables indicate that Western officials are very concerned about the possibility that terrorists may obtain WMD material through Pakistan. During official talks in London in 2009, British officials raised "deep concerns" that a rogue scientist in that Pakistan's nuclear program "could gradually smuggle enough material out to make a weapon." British officials also believe that "extremists" could use Pakistani agricultural supplies of anthrax, avian flu and foot-and-mouth disease to develop biological weapons.

Much of Washington's effort to prevent biological agents from falling into terrorist hands occurs through the State Department's Biosecurity Engagement Program. One cable sent by a senior U.S. diplomat in Islamabad said that in 2007, "virtually no biosecurity measures" were observed during two visits to the Pakistan Agricultural Research Center, which houses anthrax, foot-and-mouth diseases, avian influenza and brucellosis. The cable says that by February 2008, security practices had improved and "dedicated safety officers" were in place, but provides no detail.

At a Jan. 28, 2009 meeting of the North Atlantic Council, NATO's top decision-making body, "Terrorist acquisition of WMD was the next topic of major concern," according to one cable. It said that although al-Qaida and other jihadists were thought have a limited capability to acquire WMD, "the intent was clearly present, and there were ongoing credible reports of attempts to recruit the needed expertise. A 'dirty' radiological IED [improvised explosive device] program was thought to be under active consideration by al-Qaeda."

Other cables revealed that documents found in Afghanistan in 2007 showed that the terror group had made greater progress in bioterrorism than was previously realized. A senior State Department official warned that the growth of the biotechnology industry, particularly in Indonesia, could make biological weapons more available to jihadists. In June 2008, India's national security adviser told two U.S. senators that terrorists had made a "manifest attempt to obtain fissile material" and "have the technical competence to manufacture an explosive device beyond a mere dirty bomb."

A recent issue of Inspire magazine, published by al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), provides tips for American Muslims on the use of chemical and chemical and biological weapons. Inspire contributor Yahya Ibrahim discussed the subject in an article entitled "The Ultimate Mowing Machine," a primer on innovative ways to "Mow Down the Enemies of Allah."

"America is a terrorist state and Americans are complacent [sic] in some of the worst forms of terrorism our Muslim nation has been subjected to," Ibrahim writes. "Millions of Muslim lives have been lost to American brutality. It is about time Muslims wake up and pay back America what is due to it."

The article is part of a section of the magazine called "Open Source Jihad," which gives readers ideas on ways to carry out terrorist attacks.

According to Ibrahim, a skilled microbiologist could produce the deadly botulin toxin, which could result in "hundreds if not thousands of casualties." Such an attack could require years of planning, but would be "worth the wait."

"Brothers with less experience in the fields of microbiology or chemistry, as long as they possess basic scientific knowledge, would be able to develop other poisons such as Ricin or Cyanide," he writes, adding that the subject of using weapons of mass destruction against the United States will be discussed in upcoming issues of Inspire.

After the magazine was published, the FBI's "WMD Operations Unit 1" sent this memorandum to state and local law enforcement officials warning them about the article.

Obtaining weapons of mass destruction is a long-standing al-Qaida goal. In a forthcoming research report, former CIA officer Rolf Mowatt-Larson outlines al-Qaida's history of pursuing WMD and its religious arguments supporting nuclear terrorism. Mowatt-Larson, currently a senior fellow at Harvard's Kennedy School, writes that Jamal al-Fadl, who defected from al-Qaida in 1996 and became a source for the FBI and CIA, testified that the organization tried to acquire uranium in the early and mid-1990s while based in Sudan.

In 2002, the CIA made public information on gruesome experiments testing cyanide, sarin and other toxins on animals. The following year, Jemaah Islamiya's chief Hambali was captured. He provided interrogators with confirmation of his own role in al-Qaida's anthrax efforts. In 2008, Zawahiri published a fatwa justifying the use of WMD.

"The bottom line…is clear: al Qaeda and its network have been determined to acquire WMD," Mowatt-Larson writes. "Organizing a coherent strategy to prevent this nightmare from occurring begins with a clear recognition that WMD terrorism is a real and imminent threat."

The Fundamental Difference Between Private and Public Unions

The Fundamental Difference Between Private and Public Unions

I grew up in Detroit. I make a huge distinction between industrial worker unions like the UAW and Teamsters on the one hand and government bureaucrats unions like the NEA on the other hand.

The NEA funnels compulsory union dues into political campaigns to essentially elect their own bosses. The politicians who benefit from this refuse to make any changes whatsoever in the horrible school systems no matter how bad they get.

Milwaukee teachers earn on average for $100,000 a year in salary and benefits. What do we get for it? 32% of kids in Milwaukee never graduate high school. Many of those who do "graduate" are functional illiterates who can't read, write, or perform simple arithmetic.

American cannot remain a prosperous country with our awful school system. This has to change. It will never change as long as the NEA and AFSCME own the Democrat Party.

FDR himself was against government workers unionizing. He was right.

EXPOSED! Obama Working To Spread Riots Across US

Now the End Begins Blog

Look for the Union Label

What on earth is a President of the United States doing actively supporting angry protest mobs in the United States? Silly me, but I thought that an elected President was supposed to be the President of all the people, and not just of the hard, far Left. Isn’t the President supposed to be neutral in matters like this and let the States work it out? So why, you ask, is Obama doing this? I will tell you why. Obama is supporting the hard, far Left in these uprisings because he is on a mission. A mission to bring down this country, overthrow the Constitution he was sworn to protect and replace it with Socialist anarchy. Obama is not a real President, he is the bought and paid for puppet of the Puppet Master, George Soros.

Change has come to America

The Pro-Union riots are spreading now across the country because Obama and his team are fomenting and encouraging the rebellion. This is not a “grass-roots protest” for “teacher’s right’s”, this is the classic Civil Unrest that Obama learned at the feet of his fellow traitors like Bill Ayers, the Weather Underground, and Saul Alinsky. American people, and I will shout this from the housetops – WAKE UP! Your country is being taken from you by the traitor you elected as President. Obama is ENCOURAGING these riots, and helping them to spread. We are losing our country to the Socialist and New World Order forces that have besieged it.

Obama fanning the flames of riots

“MADISON, WIS. – President Obama thrust himself and his political operation this week into Wisconsin’s broiling budget battle, mobilizing opposition Thursday to a Republican bill that would curb public-worker benefits and planning similar protests in other state capitals. Obama accused Scott Walker, the state’s new Republican governor, of unleashing an “assault” on unions in pushing emergency legislation that would change future collective-bargaining agreements that affect most public employees, including teachers.

The president’s political machine worked in close coordination Thursday with state and national union officials to get thousands of protesters to gather in Madison and to plan similar demonstrations in other state capitals. Their efforts began to spread, as thousands of labor supporters turned out for a hearing in Columbus, Ohio, to protest a measure from Gov. John Kasich (R) that would cut collective-bargaining rights.

By the end of the day, Democratic Party officials were organizing additional demonstrations in Ohio and Indiana, where an effort is underway to trim benefits for public workers. Some union activists predicted similar protests in Missouri, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

House Speaker John A. Boehner (Ohio) issued a stern rebuke of the White House, calling on Obama to wave off his political operation and stop criticizing the governor. ”This is not the way you begin an ‘adult conversation’ in America about solutions to the fiscal challenges that are destroying jobs in our country,” Boehner said in a statement, alluding to the president’s call for civility in budget talks. “Rather than shouting down those in office who speak honestly about the challenges we face, the president and his advisers should lead.” source – Washington Post

The Obama Revolution

So for the first time since 1776, we have an American leader actively leading a rebellion against a country. Only this time the rebellion is against itself. NTEB has warned you since we started that Obama’s mission was to bring down this country from the inside, and that is exactly what he is doing. This is why America is not in bible prophecy, because at the time of the end we will not exist in any meaningful way, and certainly not as a Superpower. Obama, Soros and Company will see to that.

And the question I will leave you with is this – How does the Muslim Brotherhood figure into all this? You’re about to find out.

Herman Cain rallies tea party in Madison

Right on Herman Cain

Are politicians beginning to wake up?

English Defense Leagues  response to British Prime Minister David Cameron's speech on multiculturalism and the threat of 'Islamist extremism'

Last week we returned to Luton for a landmark demonstration against the rise of Islamic extremism. We’ve come a long way since we were just a group of football fans protesting against the treatment of our soldiers by radical Muslims.

We’ve learnt a lot about Islam; about the crimes committed in its name, about the hatred to be found throughout its scriptures (including the murderous legacy of the prophet Mohammed), and about the difficulties involved in separating the moderates from the radicals.

We’ve learnt how Sharia Law sets different rules for Muslims and non-Muslims, and how Islamic teaching justifies the widespread oppression of women. We’ve also learnt about the (few) brave Muslims who do stand up against this intolerance.

Shortly before the Luton demonstration the Prime Minster, David Cameron, gave a speech that has divided public opinion.

Much like the EDL before him, Mr Cameron has now taken that first step towards seriously addressing the threat that certain forms of Islam pose to this country, and its long traditions of democracy and freedom.

So, thank you Dave.

Dave’s speech is a landmark event as well. It marks an important departure from the last 30 years of government thinking. It marks a readiness to actually listen to peoples’ concerns - concerns that many have had to rely on the EDL to voice.

It marks a willingness to finally accept that what we are dealing with is a single dangerous ideology; an ideology that encourages people who live amongst us to hate and to kill in the name of their religion. Most importantly, it marks an acceptance of the great unspoken fact: this problem is with Islam.

There’s simply no getting away from it, and pretending that this wasn’t the case was doing far more harm than good: it was encouraging the extremists to use their religion to deflect criticism (and in some cases take advantage of government funding), and it was suppressing the important criticisms that do need to be made of Islam (in some cases leading to groups such as the EDL being unfairly written off as ‘Islamophobes’).

In her speech a few weeks back, Baroness Warsi seemed to suggest that the whole country is becoming Islamophobic; a speech referred to in the Daily Telegraph as “packed with sanctimonious generalities”. What Dave has made clear is that it’s not a phobia - it’s a willingness to actually talk about the issues for once. That’s definitely something we want to be a part of.

Only by educating people about the threat posed by militant Islam can we fulfil our obligation to combat it peacefully, with respect for the beliefs of those Muslims who genuinely do want to live in peace with their fellow Britons.

So, thanks again Dave.

There is, however, one important issue that we must pick up on, and that’s the term ‘Islamist extremism’. This is a new one.

The word ‘Islamism’ is widely known to refer specifically to ‘political Islam’, or to the ideology that says that Islam isn’t just a religion, but a set of political principles as well.

By ‘extremism’ we assume that Dave’s referring to any set of beliefs that are ‘a bit too much’ - ideologies that are dangerous and unpleasant.

Islamism is certainly that. But by referring to ‘Islamist extremism’ Dave seems to be suggesting that there’s a non-extreme version of Islamism out there. To be an Islamist is to believe in theocracy over democracy - to want ‘man made’ laws replaced by the Sharia, and to make non-Muslims subject to those rules. It’s hard to see how that could ever be anything but ‘extreme’.

The other danger with the term ‘Islamist extremism’ is that it suggests that the only Islamic extremists that we
have to worry about are the political ones (the people who want to take over the political process or force their views on others - otherwise known as ‘Islamosfascists’).

But you just need to look at Islam-inspired terrorism to know that this isn’t the case. Islamic terrorists aren’t interested in the political process, just harming the non-believers, or ‘kuffar’.

Muslims who are inspired by Islamic scripture to go out and ‘kill the infidel’ are directly inspired by the religion of Islam - not by a complicated set of political ideals that just-so-happen to be themselves inspired by Islam.

No Dave. The problem’s not Islamist extremism: it’s Islamic extremism. And that (believe it or not) is rooted in Islam.

Never mind. As Douglas Murray of the Centre for Social Cohesion says, "there is very little that government does well. Perhaps what it can do least well is theology."

But you’re nearly there.

In fact, we were so impressed with Dave’s speech that we’ve decided to replicate the whole thing here (it really is important, so we’d encourage everyone to read it).

Of course, a lot needs to be done if Dave is to live up his words. But he’s started the ball rolling. He’s validated a lot of our criticisms, and helped make it acceptable to discuss these important issues.

It’s only with a free and open discussion that we’ll ever be able to effectively deal with the threat posed by radical Islam.

It’s only with a free and open discussion that we’ll be able to help ensure that Islam can reform itself sufficiently in order to banish the evil in its midst and to join the 21st century.

And it’s only with a free and open discussion that we’ll be able to finally rid ourselves of those who would rather shout “racist” than have a reasoned discussion.

Free speech being one of the most fundamental human rights of all.

Thank you Dave - we’re getting there!

Yet Another EDL Leader Threatened at His Home by Armed Muslim Mob

Published on 04-02-2011 07:37
By Ignominius

When we reported on the attempted armed attack on one of the EDL leaders late last week, it was pointed out that Islam hates opposition. And that when Islam meets with opposition the only way it can deal with that opposition is with threats of death, physical intimidation and violence. Many people were cynical enough to believe that it was a ploy by the EDL, close to the demonstration in Luton, to gain support and sympathy for the cause.

But last night fifteen armed men, one of them allegedly armed with a firearm, turned up at the home of the EDL's chief spokesman, Guramit Singh, intending, at least, to intimidate and frighten him. Guramit, confronting the men with his Rottweiler, showed that neither he nor the EDL will be cowed or intimidated. The men fled and not long after the armed police arrived and Amit, as he is affectionately known, was escorted to the local police station to give a statement. Afterwards, he was collected by members of his EDL division and taken to a safe house with police protection. The police are still at his home at the present time.

Islamic intimidation and threats of violence are growing, not just towards the leaders of the EDL, but to many people who are not Muslim. There are the Muslim gangs that groom teenage girls for sex and prostitution, and there are Muslim gangs who rape young women. Just to be clear, it's not a racial thing, it’s about utter disregard for the life and well-being of 'infidels', from large parts of the Muslim culture. The Sikh and Hindu communities have complained that these same Muslim gangs are targeting Sikh and Hindu women as well. It's a pattern we see emerging not just here in Britain but around the world. We see it even in Egypt, where today it was reported that in the Egyptian village of Sharona, 11 Copt Christians were murdered by Muslims. The attackers were neighbours of the two families attacked. These same attackers murdered the two families, and looted the homes for money, electrical goods, grain and livestock. They didn't attack Muslim neighbours!

Islam seeks to dominate. If it can't do it by forceful, bigoted words then it will do it by violence and intimidation.

Jeremy Paxman, interviewing Tommy Robinson on Newsnight this week, was keen to imply that the EDL are blowing Islamic extremism out of proportion, that there is in fact no or little threat from Islamism. He was keen to imply that the EDL are simply racist thugs out to demonise a section of the community. How empty are his words now? And what about Islamic integration? Is this how Muslims integrate into a liberal, democratic society? Are these acts of violence the actions of a people who are merely 'misunderstood'?

Mr Paxman, please remind us of the last time fifteen armed Labour supporters turned up at David Cameron's door threatening him with threats of death and violence because Mr Cameron was campaigning against the Labour party. The silence is rather deafening. It’s especially deafening from the 'moderate' Muslims! Where is their outrage? Where is their shame?

Let's just remind Mr Paxman and his BBC puppet-masters of a few facts. Over 40% of Muslims in Great Britain want Sharia law. 30% - a third - think it's okay to kill and murder in the name of Islam in order to impose that Sharia law. A law that would see woman stoned to death for being raped, men mutilated for acts of petty theft, people lashed for minor crimes, and personal liberties and freedoms removed. That is the reality of Sharia law. It's not just a simple dispute management system for Muslims, but a complete legal, judicial and political system that hates democracy and the democratic process.

That is why radical Islam hates the EDL. It knows that it only by violent action that it can hope to suppress the truth.

Unfortunately Islam's history suggests that it knows no other way, but to intimidate, to kill, to threaten and to dominate. Yet people like Mr Paxman are prepared to turn a blind eye to all this in the name of 'social cohesion' and 'multicultural appeasement'. When will they wake up? Perhaps only when the Muslim mobs are at their door and they need police protection!

Needless to say, with the Luton demonstration a day away, please stay calm and remember we are there to demonstrate peacefully. There must be no violence from the EDL and its supporters. We have the eyes of the world on us. Let us show the world that Britons of all races, creeds, political persuasion are the better people than the Islamists. Let us show that we are peaceful and civilised, and that we want to be part of an intelligent debate about issues that affect us all. But above all let us claim the moral high ground and show Islamism for what it really is – a barbaric 7th Century imperialist movement that seeks to violently dominate where ever it goes.

+Enlarge Peter King appeared on Fox News this morning and reiterated the need for his hearings next month on radicalism among American Muslims.

Critics, and especially the Council on American-Islamic Relations, have accused King of partaking of a modern-day McCarthyism, and want his hearings to be expanded to include non-Muslim extremists, including neo-Nazis and environmental extremists.

King however hit back, saying that CAIR was "an unindicted co-conspirator in a major terrorism case in this country and they are putting themselves forward as spokesmen for the Muslim community."

King is referring to a 2007-incident in which the Alberto Gonzalez-led Justice Department released the names of an undicted co-conspirators in a Texas terrorism case.

King added that the case of domestic Islamic extremism is a seperate issue from other kinds of extremism.

This really does sound a lot like the Obama regimes middle east policy.

Kevin Carroll speaks at EDL demo in Luton .mp4

"We're not racist, we're not violent - we're just no longer silent"

Kevin Carroll, co-leader of the English Defence League, speaks about the recent threats to the EDL leadership team - including both himself and Guramit Singh - and makes clear that we will not be scared into silence by radical Islam.

Kev reminds us all that its only through peaceful protest that our voices will be heard, and reminds our critics that the EDL have not retaliated in the face of threats and violence.

Islamic extremism is plaguing Britain, but most of our politicians seem to think that it's all our fault, and nothing to do with Islam. In contrast, Kev challenges British Muslims to prove that they can live in harmony with the rest of society.

It is the government and British Muslims that should be fighting Islamic extremism. It should not be left up to ordinary people. Britain shouldn't need the EDL.

But when Muslim extremists openly burn poppies on Remembrance Day - a day, that Kev reminds us, is not just for British soldiers, but for all who have lost their lives in war - someone needs to say something. Someone needs to stand up and say that this is wrong.

Here are some highlights from Kev's speech:

"And if they do hear it in that town hall, and in number 10 Downing Street, we want them to hear it loud and clear - we are not going to submit."

"This movement has now become the largest phenomenon in the whole country"

"Our police officers have been fantastic"

"They'd love to ban us, but they're not going to be able to, because there's not going to be any violence from our side"

It has been left to the EDL to defend our communities, to defend democracy, and to defend the memories of those who gave their lives in defence of this country.

We will continue to peacefully protest against militant Islam.

No surrender!
