In saying this, Ron Paul parrots the Islamic supremacist line that defending against the global jihad is not a matter of standing for freedom against tyranny, or working to preserve and protect the freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, and equality of rights for all people. Instead — they claim — it is just a matter of “hate.”
When Islamic supremacists such as Dalia Mogahed, Daisy Khan, Ibrahim Hooper or Reza Aslan say this, their agenda is clear: they want to stigmatize resistance to jihad so that that resistance collapses, and the jihad against the West can proceed unimpeded. Branding the defenders of freedom as hatemongers and bigots is for such people a tactic in their war.
But what’s Ron Paul’s excuse?
